Excellent experience with general maintenance and brake job 1/9/2012

The technician was extremely helpful in explaining all items of the estimate and was very willing to work with us in terms of managing cost when it came to replacing our brakes. Very pleased with the overall service. more

Love this place! 4/2/2011

These guys are friendly and fast at what they do!!! I use to take my car to midas near my house till i noticed everytime i took it in to get fixed i would get another list of urgent repairs! Finally my father told me to see Rob at aamco in pasadena, so i did and never looked back! My car has never ran better! And the price was very affordable! Thanks guys!!!! =) more

Horror Story 2/13/2011

Aside from the Manager looking like a Bum with bad breath and yellow teeth. They overcharged me and got angry when i was trying to leave i felt abused. I would not recommend place place go somewhere else. I should have known since there parking lot was empty, no satisfied customers. more

My husband and I come all the way from Encino to Aamco of Pasadena. Rob is awesome he always makes us feel like one of the family. We always feel like we get a great deal, we never feel like we get over charged or taken advantage of. The staff is very talented and will always quickly get the job done. Rob will rob you blind, by all means don't take your car there. \r I have witness many people upset by the work rob does, I have had to go back many times because they don't fix car's right., and the manger writes fake review too. leave this place to fail on it's own. more

TRUSTWORTHY & RELIABLE 1/14/2011

The guys at Aamco Pasadena ROCK!!! \r The mechanics are very knowledgeable with a wide variety of vehicles. \r I have a 2000 Chevy Camero that was missing terribly & was not responding when I would accelerate! \r I took it into Aamco Pasadena and Rob the Manager told me to leave it & he would look at it and give me a FREE Estimate. \r He give me a call with an estimate that was MUCH lower than I was expecting. \r Rob had explained to me in simple terms what was wrong with the car and put me at ease.\r He had my car for two days and now my car now runs like a dream. \r I am so greatful I have found a Mechanic that I can TRUST. \r I'm in good hands with Aamco Pasadena. \r Rob your AWESOME! \r Thank you ALL. \r I will be telling everyone I know about Aamco Pasadena. more

The ease of a chain, the care of a local garage 6/10/2010

Being that I own an older car, I know the importance of getting regular maintenance on it. When I moved out to Pasadena, I was recommended to check out the local Aamco and they did not disappoint. My regular tuneups are always done quickly and I never have to worry about any issues coming up. \r \r The one time that my car had a major transmission issue, the Aamco had my car back to me the same week in better condition than before, without destroying my bank account.\r \r I could not recommend them more highly. more

I had been recommended to go here by co-workers but I'm weary of big companys until Rob (the manager) provided me with such a wonderful experience that changed my opinion. It was fast,cheap,and honest work. I'd tell everyone to come here! more

Great Service 5/21/2010

I just wanted to send a quick note and word of appreciation to recommend any body who needs good honest mechanic. My Honda Odyssey was acting up and driving terribly. I was told by regular mechanic that I need new transmission and will cost me $3500.00. I got afraid and did not know what to do. As I heard on radio, called AAMCO of Pasadena. Spoke to Rob, who told what happened to transmission and soothed my nerves. He towed my van to his shop, checked at no charge, rebuild, fixed and SAVED me money. Service was great. And I will go back there. more

Bad service and unprofessional 1/1/2010

I would not go back here. Horrible customer service and looking to make a quick buck. I brought my car in for an estimate on some transmission problems I had been having after receiving a higher quote from a competitor. I was told the inspection was free. Once I received a quote over the phone and told the manager I would have to think about it and take my car back, he said I owed him $800 and he hung up on me. I went down to the shop and told him an inspection fee was never quoted for an estimate on my car and he straight out lied. When I told him to return my car, he said he would return the car, but would not put the transmission back in and that I would need to tow it out (even though I was able to drive it to the location). He kept flip flopping back and forth saying he would return it Monday, then Wednesday or Thursday depending on when he wanted to get it done. The manager even had the nerve to tell me that I needed psychological help and that I was crazy. This is not t more
