you have to understand that they have been around for a long time and do biz the old fashioned way. this is appliance repair and not rocket science so don't expect edge of the envelope service. they are nice in an old fashioned way and pretty good vac techs...i have used them for years for parts and occasional repair and have no problem with them. I'd recommend them more

AAA Sew and Vac East 12/15/2010

I walked right out the place after the man was terribly rude to me. He took one look at me and already knew he had nothing to offer me! I asked how much to take a look at my sewing machine. After not listening to a word i said about what may be wrong he demanded i pay $65 to even glance at it!!! Call around I found many places looking at them for free or a SMALL fee of $25... I DO NOT RECOMEND THEM AT ALL! Edit Remove more

Slow slow slow 3/29/2010

I brought my machine here to be repaired, explained the problem and was told they would call me back within a few days with a quote. A week later when I still hadn't heard from them I called back to be told they hadn't even looked at it yet, finally after another 2 weeks I called again and they told me it was ready. They fixed the machine just fine but don't go here if you need your machine fixed in a timely manner. more

This AAA Sew & Vac is the original store & been there for the 30 years I've used it! I have had both sewing machines and vacuums repaired & yearly cleaned. I've purchased new sewing machines & vacuums there also. The people are knowledgeable and have quite an excellent reputation. They also have regularly scheduled year around classes by great instructors. You can feel comfortable dropping off a machine to be checked, adjusted or repaired. more
