Ver Personable Owner and Sales People 3/22/2017

The owner and sales people at Spencer's Mattress are very personable. The set up of the frame and mattress was not to my satisfaction, though. It took a lot of time and effort to fix the situation. I am happy with product now that it's set up, but the mattress was a bit too firm and I guess i should have picked a firmer one. more

Might Be the Best Thing I Ever Did 3/3/2017

I recently got a new mattress from Santa Barbara Mattress and everything was awesome. The service was amazing. The delivery was super smooth, everything was good. There was actually nothing I can complain about and I love my new bed. The pricing was amazing. I priced everywhere in Santa Barbara and they had the best price. I think I worked with the owner there. I can't remember his name but he was so helpful. Buying this mattress might best thing I ever did. more

Would Recommend to Others 3/2/2017

My wife and I bought a new mattress through Santa Barbara Mattress and they handled all of the details. They delivered the new one promptly and offered to take away the old one. There was a small fee for the disposal of the old mattress that I wasn't initially aware of, but I expected that from any mattress company. The new mattress is very comfortable and I overall found their service to be efficient and professional. I would definitely continue to use their service and would recommend it to others. more

I worked with the owners when I went into Spencer's Mattress and they were very helpful. I was in and out quickly and I got what I wanted. I'd say the price was fair. The mattress is good, I'm happy with it. They're convenient too, it's a very good location. I'd definitely recommend them if you're in the market for a mattress. more

I love the mattress that I got at Santa Barbara Mattress. I've had it now for a bit, I think I got it a few months ago and I just love it. The service when I went to the store was very nice and the lady that helped me when I went in was very good about helping me pick the perfect mattress for me. I get compliments on it all the time. I would definitely give them a top score for everything. more

Sleeping Like a Baby 12/19/2016

I bought a Churchill & Smith mattress this summer directly from Spencer himself. I walked in with my girlfriend looking for an all natural mattress due to some health concerns. Spencer was there and gave us the low down on the in the industry and all the beds, we learned a lot in a short period of time. We tried out a lot of beds and picked Churchill and Smith. Spencer was super kind, informative, not pushy at all and knew his stuff. We have been sleeping on our king size all natural mattress for 5 months now and we couldn't be happier. The bed is super durable, plush, and it keeps us cool when it's too hot and warm when it's cool, it's got great breathability due to all of its natural materials. We later found out Spencer hand-made the bed himself and it is made locally! Couldn't be happier, thank you! more

Santa Barbara Mattress was very nice and responsive. They got the mattress to my house in like half an hour from when we bought it, which was just so surprisingly fast. This is my first time using them and their customer service was very good. I would use them again. more

Friendly and excellent service 11/17/2016

They are super nice people at Santa Barbara Mattress because they take their time with you. Spencer's wife was working with us and she knew how to guide me to what I needed. I was in and out fairly quickly, and then the bed was delivered and set up for me that same day. I bought a single platform-style bed and slept in it that night--and the sleep was great. more

Friendly, knowledgeable and fast service 11/16/2016

I bought a mattress for my guest room recently at Santa Barbara Mattress and I was very pleased with the experience! The owner happened to be in the store that day and he is so knowledgeable. I like that they are local and friendly and that the process was so easy. There's so many choices out there and I was constantly asking myself "Am I buying the right thing?" They were so helpful with walking me through my choices. Buying a mattress for a guest room is not really a happy purchase to make because you don't really even get to see it. I'd done all this research and had all these questions. You just question your every decision. I just felt the level of knowledge was incredible. I walked out feeling I'd definitely gotten what I should have. I love that they manufacture their mattresses domestically here in California. Also, the delivery was really fast. I bought that mattress at like 3 o clock in the afternoon and I swear that guy had someone deliver it in about an hour and a half. I would definitely buy another mattress from them. more

Great company, would recommend! 10/31/2016

I am quite happy with how my experience at Santa Barbara Mattress has been. There was an issue with misordering when I accidentally had them send me the wrong product, and they were really great about fixing the problem in a very timely manner. The products I got from them are also excellent and I am very happy with them. I will definitely use them again if needed, and I highly recommend them! more

Can't beat their prices anywhere!! 10/18/2016

I have purchased a twin and a full mattress from Spencer's Mattress and am completely satisfied with everything. Money is a big issue and they had the best prices by far. Not to mention free delivery plus, they haul off the old mattress as well. They really have the best value out there and I highly recommend them! more

I had a very positive experience using the services from Spencer's Mattress. I showed up right before they closed, and they stayed in to talk to me, and gave me a great deal on what I needed. The people at Spencers are very nice people, and give great service. They are really knowledgeable about beds and mattresses. I highly recommend them! more

A friend referred me to Santa Barbara Mattress. I have an elderly father with limited mobility and their staff were very helpful with providing me with very good information about which mattress would be suitable for him. My father likes his new mattress. Their staff was very professional and respectful. I think the price for the mattress was fair. I would recommend this company to other people. more
