Planning on taking them to court. The price got more than tripled and when the van broke down two days later from the same issue I was told things like ""we don't know what's wrong with it"" or "" we don't have the equipment to fix it"" and even "" honestly it's beyond me"". I guess these things are all understandable but they charged me six hundred and fifty dollars to tell me that. When I asked for a refund they wouldn't give a penny back. The manager also didn't give us back the old parts and isn't that state law? more

Took car for a simple brake pad 1/16/2012

Took car for a simple brake pad replacement. They told me they can't do it without replacing the rotors, as those were too rusty. I agreed to change front rotors and pads. At the end mechanic said he will also change pads on the rear, so turned out he was lying to me about the rotors. So they just try to pull as much money from customer as they can, without any reason. DON'T GO THERE 8/2/2009

For so many choices in Brighton for car repairs, I wouldn't go to AA muffler. They use cheap parts & cheap talk to squeeze every dime they can out of you!!\r RIP OFF! more

Honest work, great customer service 12/10/2008

AAA Muffler, now known as "AA Muffler" is one of the older repair shops in Brighton. They do tires, brakes, exhaust, shocks, struts, and simple stuff like oil changes. They're family owned and offer things beyond what you'll get a the chain-stores. I always get my car back in the same day, and I've never had a problem with the repairs. Coming from the metro-Detroit area prior to living in Brighton, AA muffler's prices are right in line with others. more

Used many times 10/26/2005

What they do...they do well... they are limited to brakes, exhausts tires, etc...any type of repair..they will defer..prices are reasonable and service has been prompt.. They do have limitations regarding repairs however have been helpful in giving additional referrals I have no problem recommending these guys for a fair service at a fair price... more
