Worst

Would not even guesstimate a turnaround time without tearing case apart. I don't have time to wonder when they can get around to fixing my truck. Going somewhere else.

I took my old pickup to a local Firestone shop to fix a screeching noise that was just beginning to develop. They spent about 2 hours replacing fan belt pulleys to no effect and finally told me they couldn't fix it. Over the next week or so the noise worsened. I then took it to John at A1 Transmission thinking I had a transmission problem and expecting it to cost me big $$$. John diagnosed and fixed the problem, a seized fan clutch, it cost me much less than I thought it would. I appreciated John’s honesty in not trying to rip me off for more. Since he is the owner and operator he has an interest in dealing fairly with his customers. more

really great service 10/31/2014

After going to a dealership and only given the option of getting my transmission replaced for my g35. I did some searching and found a1 transmission. I spoke with john and he assured me that he was a certified technician and the owner and would be able to fix my transmission. john is very personable which is rare to find and four months later I now feel comfortable about posting my review. My transmission still works great and it also has warranty. more
