A-1 Plumbing & Water Heaters

I'm a repeat customer of A-1 Plumbing & Water Heaters. I was so satisfied the first time we had them by, that we called them back out. They were very accommodating to give same-day service. Everybody I talked to from our owner down is very pleasant and accommodating. The job was thorough, and the price was fair. We were pleased with them the first time, so we recommended them to ourselves for starters. That's what's most important to me. Having an older house, quick service becomes very important. I will use them again. more

I had a property I was selling and the sewer got backed up. I had a showing that afternoon so I called A-1 Plumbing & Water Heaters. They got out there within 15 minutes and the employee went there and found the problem, snaked it out, and corrected the problem. He also looked at the rest of house and found another leak that would've caused problems down the road. He fixed that leak as well and the price he offered was very reasonable. He was a great guy and did a great job. more

I've had A-1 Plumbing come two times. One was to an apartment that I own, and the other was for my own house. They didn't push either time to do extra things, and they even suggested that there were some repairs I could do later. The first thing I had done was really impressive. I have an older home, and I had the bathrooms remodeled about 8 years ago. Ever since then the tub had been really hard lock. The valve was really tight. The contractor that put it in said we had to be really careful with it, so we suffered with it until it got to the point where we couldn't move it at all. We called A-1 and they just adjusted in and it worked fine. They did some other things while they were there because the repair didn't take an hour and they didn't want to charge me for the time without doing everything they could. It was just a wonderful experience, and that's something you don't get too often with plumbers. C. Nicholson more

A-1 Plumbing & Water Heaters is good. The guy came out to fix the faucet in the sink, which had been leaking for awhile, and he did it. He did a good job, when all the others I had over to fix it just kind of patched it up. more

A-1 Plumbing & Water Heaters got the job done pretty quick. When I called they were quick and responsive. The appointment was kind of delayed, but I didn't really mind because I was at home doing nothing anyway. They were really fast, they knew what they were doing, and they did a great job. more

I had a couple of things that A-1 Affordable Plumbing did for me. One was replace a water heater in the unit. They did it very quickly and efficiently, and the price was quite good, even better than what I got from other quotes. Mike Martin more

All in all, these are very nice guys. They handled the jobs I had very professionally and efficiently even though they turned out to be more complicated jobs than they'd thought they'd be. They handled them well. I also thought their prices were very reasonable and they stuck to their quotes. There were few reasons why I didn't give them a perfect rating. The first thing was that I was the first appointment of the day and I was given a window of 9am-10am, however, the technician called me at 10am to let me know he was on his way. He arrived at 10:20am. I think that the first appointment of the day shouldn't have to be given a window of an hour or be made to wait over an hour for someone to arrive. Just give me a time and be there at that time. Also, another reason I'm dinging them, is that he scratched my floor. It was an accident, and he was very apologetic, however there's no way to repair it. I think for future jobs, they should lay down a mat or blanket while they work. Finally, I spoke to the plumber over the phone a week prior to my appointment and texted him the information about the type of toilet I wanted. However, when he arrived for the appointment he asked me what style I wanted, then left to go run around to find the right toilet. I felt that a week gave him ample time to use his resources to find the toilet I wanted, so I couldn't help feeling like he arrived unprepared. Overall, I thought they were a good company to work with. I would use them again and would recommend them too. more

A-1 Affordable Plumbing did the work efficiently. I can't say much more than that. They replaced the garbage disposal, a faucet, and a shower head, and it all was very good. more
