Worst

Unprofessional and dirty office with bad manners.

Don't bother with this practice 8/11/2010

Referred to this practice by my GP. Rude office staff, no privacy at front counter or at nurse's counter. Nurses don't return calls for 1-2 weeks. Nurses don't respond to my mail-order pharmacy company after numerous calls. Couldn't be bothered to send me copies of my test results in the sefl address-stamped envelope I provided to them. Nurses didn't tell me the reason for a required repeat mammogram for 2 weeks. \r \r After referring my best friend to this practice, Dr. Burns told my friend, who is a single mother (on a friday late afternoon), that she had a brain tumor. Period. (It was a prolactimoma). Wouldn't refer her to an endocrinologist or a neurologist. \r \r I timed Robi Burns's exam with me for a routine pap/pelvic/breast exam. 60 sec. That's gotta be a record. Don't waste your time. She's judgemental and her staff is very unprofessional. I relayed my experiences to my GP who was horrified to think he referred her to me (tried to give the practice the benefit of the doubt on several visits). No more. more

Very Dishonest, Stay Away 1/22/2010

Stay away from this office. They are dishonest and I felt like they were more concerned about my money than me. Their billing department is just plain awful to work with. Stay away from this womens place. Cons: The billing dept is a nightmare more

I loved Dr. Keller 12/24/2009

I really liked Dr. Keller. She was very attentive and took the time to listen to my concerns. I had to wait 30 minutes to see her, but she was so helpful with getting me on the correct birth control. No one else would listen to my concerns because of my family history. Now I am happy and I feel great knowing that I have a doctor who will listen to my concerns. Pros: Listened to me more

dr. keller is the worst doctor i have ever seen 10/1/2009

i would not go back to see dr. keller if you paid me. i cannot speak for the other doctors associated with this practice - but dr. keller had the worst bedside manner i have ever experienced. 1. wait time: i waited 1 hour and 15 minutes - and i believe my morning appointment was one of their first for the day. 2. bedside manner - when dr. keller entered the exam room, she neither knocked on the door nor introduced herself. she was very cold. she did not ask me one question about myself. i managed to ask her only ONE question about exercise, weight loss, and birth control pills - her curt reply was ""well maybe you are just eating too much."" no questions about my eating habits, exercise habits, or general lifestyle. she handed me the gown/cloth, left the room, and i began to get undressed. again, she entered the exam room without knocking - i was still not even undressed. i was basically standing there half clothed - she said, ""allright, let's get this moving, let's get this overwith."" granted, she was about to see me without clothes on, but it was the principle - someone walking by in the hallway EASILY could have seen me.\r \r while she was examining me - with her hands inside me - she continued to ask me NO questions about myself. instead, she talked about what part of the country she was from. i was mortified, a bit in shock at her attitude, and truthfully just wanted to get the exam overwith at that point.\r \r i left the office shaking and in tears. i am new to the area, and had no one to ask for gynecologist recommendations. i certainly had several health related questions i wanted to ask, as my cross-country move had introduced a great deal of stress and sleepless nights into my life. dr. keller was obviously too busy for me to even ASK her those questions.\r \r i made my decision to go to this practice based on several hours of internet research - based on their website, the appearance of the office, and another website that was full of positive reviews i decided on a woman's place. also, i felt a level of comfort trusting my body and my health to another woman. dr. keller entered the exam room at 10:15. i was in my car, driving home at 10:30 exactly. 15 minutes for my only healthcare exam of the year? really?\r \r DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE. this was absolutely the worst healthcare experience of my life - it has truly shaken me. \r \r good luck finding a doctor that provides better care than dr. keller. in my opinion, that shouldn't be too hard. she's terrible. Pros: clean office, friendly at front desk Cons: bedside manner, time spent with me, wait time more

good and bad experiences continued.... 3/11/2009

This is a continuation of a previous post....\r Dr. Keller came in a few minutes later and questioned me alot on why I thought I was pregnant, what kind of test I took, etc. It almost made me feel like they were saying I was lying to them. I know she was honestly concerned that maybe their tests were wrong...but it really felt like she had her eye brow raised at me. They went forward with lab tests and an ultra sound. By the time she left the room I was bawling. I was embarrassed and anxious. I felt like I was wasting her time, and my husbands time. I honestly wanted to go home and dig the tests out of the garbage and bring them in to them to prove I was there for a reason. Then I wanted to go back home and crawl up in a ball and hide my face under a pillow and just cry. The rest of the appt. felt like they were aimed at telling me I wasn't pregnant. Which I had gotten by that time. I was wondering if there was something else wrong with me...if I wasn't pregnant why was I nauseated, not menstruating, experiencing sore, tender swollen breasts, and had two positive tests. A possible miscarriage? Something more? These things really weren't addressed...it just seemed more about whose test was right or wrong. I was shuffled from room to room after I had already been bawling, and the stafff seemed to get very quiet when I moved from one place to the next. Maybe I was just sensitive, but it was rather humiliating and it just upset me more. Another thing I have noticed prior to this appt. is that the billing seems to be a little screwey. I am responsible about paying my bills, and when I called to set up my confirmation appt. the girl on the phone said something about a past due balance....what????? what past due balance???? to which she replied..""O never mind, that shouldn't be on there"" I also received before this a past due balance before I ever even received a bill to know that I owed them money, and it was for a 3.00 amount. I always check out at the front desk to see if I owe anything also, so this was quite surprising, but I just shrugged it off and paid it because it was really no big deal. All I can draw from this is I think that they may have issues with their billing system possibly? All of this is just a bit too much. The location is very close to my home, and very convenient for me, and up until this last experience I had no problems. Again maybe I was just sensitive, but I didn't leave their office feeling that I wanted to come back after the last experience I've had. I am now looking for another ob-gyn so when I do successfully get pregnant, I will feel comfortable at my appointments. Pros: clean inviting office, dr keller is ok Cons: didn't feel comfortable at this practice. more

Have had good and bad experiences here 3/11/2009

I have been going to Dr. Keller for about a year now. She is humorous. She is very talkative. She is likable. I've always felt comfortable with her. Something is just missing. I can relate to the review about the extra charges. The office has an interesting policy and seems to be trying to cater to the elite crowd in Anthem and Seven Hills. (Need I say that my husband and I make a great living, and money is not really that big of a concern.) However we are not the wealthiest of the wealthy, and I hated that I felt like I had to be accepted into the ""millionaires club"" to be ""accepted"" as a prenatal patient. They have a ""platinum mommies"" club that they try to sell you on from the minute you call for a confirmation appt. which is really nothing but a way to pump up the revenue and apparently turn them in to a boutique concierge practice. I see what they are going for, this is supposed to be the health care of the future... and it's a great idea, BUT it's a little discouraging if you don't want to pay the extra ( I think someone mentioned 2 grand over and above) and you don't know how much extra it's going to be. This is not shared...going in you know that there is extra cost involved, but they don't tell you how much. It is a cause for anxiety from the get go. I really felt like they were more concerned with me knowing about the platinum mommies club than they were about me as a person. I also had an experience that was a little humiliating. I need to say I really, really do like Dr. Keller. Everyone at this office has always been very nice and very courteous. It is a beautiful homey office, and I didn't mind going here for my gyn needs. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant, and recently we took two home tests after I missed a period in February and were ecstatic when they both came back positive. I called the office to let them know, and asked what to do next. The girl on the phone said that a positive test, especially two of them, was a no brainer. We went to our appt a week later...and you can only imagine our surprise and disappointment when all of our tests came out negative. :( The humiliation occurred when the tech ( or nurse, I'm not sure which she is) popped her head in the room and questioned me on whether or not I had taken a home test. We told her yes..two...of them. She didn't say anything, she just left the room. The way she asked it left my husband and I sitting in the room like...""okay, what's going on?"" Pros: Nice clean office, soothing atmosphere, Dr. Keller is ok Cons: didn't feel comfortable here more

Best GYN in Las Vegas 2/7/2009

Dr. Docasar did the surgery through the belly button with the other two holes near the bikini line to remove 2 large cysts. She also removed some scar tissue from the last C section that was done from my old-school GYN. Also had the Endometrial Ablation done for excess bleeding . Most other GYNs would say to have a hysterectomy right off the bat since I'm almost 40. I also said I wanted to keep my ovaries for the hormones they provide. She will do what you want, and not push procedures on you. I can't believe she could fix the mess I had with day surgery to be honest. She's got a pleasant personally, has a really good anesthesiologist for her surgeries : ) and her nurses are good in her office. Pros: Great Doctor, Great hospital affiliations, Great nurses Cons: poor front office staff more

Beware of this office! Underhand Staff! 1/12/2009

DO NOT GO SEE THIS OFFICE/DOCTOR! The office offers a wonderful plan but it is $2000 above insurance! Just to see the doctor for a consult to see if you even want to use them or not, they charge you $200! They don't mention it to you. They say that your insurance will cover it but it doesn't. They then demand that you cover the $200. The place is a terrible office! STAY AWAY!! Cons: Decieving staff. Charge without cause. more

Terrible nurses...they never return phone calls! 7/7/2008

I called on a Friday and spoke to the receptionist to tell them I had a positive pregnancy test. She said she would tell the nurse and have her get right back to me. I made the initial phone call at 9:00 AM, then called back at 3:00 to follow up since I hadn't heard anything... and the receptionist had no idea who I was. I reminded her and she said again that she would leave another message for the nurse. It is 5 days later, and I am still waiting for the phone call back! Ridiculous and unprofessional. Either the nurse (Myrna) or the receptionist (Jillian) needs to get fired, because I'm sure this is not the first time it's happened. I am now struggling to find another OB/GYN. Pros: short wait time Cons: never returns calls more
