I highly highly recommend this video store if you live in the West LA area. It's a small store, but it has great selection. Plus, its dirt cheap- only $1 to rent a DVD! However, you only have one day rentals for the new flicks, though you have a longer grace period for the older movies. But the cool thing is you can use your late fee to get more movies! So just say your late fee is ~$3... you can just use those $3 to rent 3 more movies (though I think it has to be on the spot). The guy who works there is very knowledgable about movies, so don't be reluctant to ask him for his advice! He even has a website for questions now. A Video Store Named Desire has the best selection of any store I've ever seen. If they don't have what you want, they will buy it just so you can rent it. What other store will do that? All videos are a $1 rental for the first day, and they have all the same releases as the big chains. It's a bit small, but they pack a lot of punch into that space. Check it out!
