A Tom's Movers

This company is Tim's Moving or Tom's Moving, also aka Tiny Movers. Do yourself a favor and use another company. NorthStar was $25 more and I wish I would have used them for this move. Too bad I didn't see these reviews beforehand. Scheduling the move was no problem, but I had to call these guys to find out what their status was an hour AFTER the initial time window when they informed me that the crew was still on a job with an unknown ETA. I had to keep calling them to find out the status and the dispatch couldn't really tell what their crew was doing or what their ETA was. 3 hours after the end of the initial window I rescheduled the move to the next day. They had to call me for directions to the address and showed up with a small van to move a refrigerator - you need a lift gate truck to move a refrigerator. They came back to the pickup location an hour and a half later even though their yard was ""15 minutes away"" and loaded everything up ok. The move was finally done (the guys doing the actual work were ok) and I got a call the next day from the office saying that my credit card was wrong, even though they recorded it correctly on the invoice and took a carbon copy of it. They finally figured out how to charge my Amex card, I must say I was surprised. All in all the management of this company is atrocious and I'm bewildered as to why they are still in business. Avoid using Tiny Tom Movers or TIny Movers are any moving company owned by Thomas William Ingram. He operates under names altered slightly. Years ago a simple moved turned into a nightmare. When all was said and done he had held my furniture for ransom, blackmailed me with my furniture held on his truck, then when he got the extra pay, his workers threw my furniture in alley behind my new residence and drove off. I have the documentation from witnesses and the resulting course case. I hired these guys to move my stuff from my apartment to another apartment just 10 miles away. I figured I would be fine with the 4 hour time frame (which is their minimum), afterall, it wasa move for just one person. Boy was I wrong! They ended up running over by 2 hours, making my move 6 hours and they never even finished! I was left to carry 58 heavy boxes all by myself! Perhaps if they weren't so old, smoked like chimneys or not complained about all the stairs they had to climb, then I'm sure the job would have been done in the 4 hour time frame that I was promised. So, not only was I out over $500, but I had to spend an additional 6 hours moving the stuff that they left behind. DO NOT use these guys unless you have deep pockets.
