Worst

I had two cars tinted. On my Hyundai Elantra, the front driver side window had numerous bubbles in it when it was done, when I first pointed it out, Jeff told me that it'd go away...

Very Professional, Amazing Quality 6/15/2011

I took my fresh of the lot Hyundai Elantra in to get the windows tinted!!! Man that car looks so good with the window tint. They did an amazing job of graduating the tint shades going from dark on the back windshield to a very light tint on the front. I get complements on my car all the time...largely impart to the amazing tint on the window. It is a small shop so make plans to go to lunch somewhere near by when they tint your windows. The quality is well worth it thought they finish the edges perfectly you cant even tell that its not factory glass. No bubbles, no seems just flawless high quality tint. I would strongly recommend. more

Best Tint Shop in Town 1/24/2011

I have been to a few tint shops and every time I ended up getting a sub par tint. So after I got a ticket and had to remove my limo tint from my trucks front window I decide to go to A Terrific Tint after a friend recommended them. I drove all the way out from LA just to go to this place...that is how convincing my friend is. The owner Jeff talked me into going with a lighter shade on my front windows...It looked great and hey I dont hafto worry about the cops anymore. he also suggest I put a light uv protection film on the front window! I am glad I did this stuff is great it cuts that heavy glare from the sunset and keeps the uv off my skin. Good shop, great results high quality film and spotless installation. I can say I am satisfied and will recommend to all of my friends. Well worth the drive. more

Avoid at all cost! Terrible customer service! 9/11/2010

I was called a liar by the store owner, Jeff, when I went in to get my tint job fixed due to imperfections. He basically said that his employees do not make mistakes and that any imperfections are my doing because I don't have the patience to wait three days to roll down the windows. Which is in no way correct! My integrity at this shop was questioned and his comments caused me to significantly raise my voice (which he matched) therefore being asked to leave. Jeff is an arrogant and judgmental person with poor customer service skills. I will not be back and you should never go. more

A+ 3/4/2009

I had my RX8 done here and they did an amazing job! Jeff we very professional and explained everything that would be done. His crew was friendly and the shop looked high class! I felt very comfortable handing over my keys; these guys will work for your business! Jeff even gave me a ride while my car was being worked on! I would highly recommend A Terrific Tint and will be a repeat cusomer for life. My car looks classy and I know that they will help with any future problems. Thanks! Pros: service, VERY accommodating Cons: none! more

Friendly Environment -- The employees were friendly and polite, especially the owner (he's a great guy to chat with.)\r 3. Will Go The Extra Mile For You -- I came in with my car dirty and they didn't hesitate to wash the car (that was my favorite part!)\r 4. The Job -- Excellent! They really do take care of your car!\r 5. Great tinting - professional attitude - stand up guy 3/16/2008

I have had 5 of my cars tinted at Terrific Tint and always had great service. They are polite and professional. I was in the lobby when ""carsandmore"" was in. It appeared he had his truck tinted in the past and now wanted limo tint on the front doors. The owner politely declined to put limo on the front doors (talking about the problems it would create with vision and the police). The customer insisted on limo - the owner offered to remove the prior tint and refund the customers money (twice). The customer said he wanted limo on the front doors and if he could not get it here he would go elsewhere and the owner would be sorry. Again he was offered a refund and a removal. If he paid twice it makes no sense to me because he had a chance to get his money back. I actually have more respect for the owner standing up and not putting limo on the front doors of a vehicle despite being threatened. MQ more

don't use if your car has the dot matrix 3/10/2008

I had two cars tinted. On my Hyundai Elantra, the front driver side window had numerous bubbles in it when it was done, when I first pointed it out, Jeff told me that it'd go away after it dried. It didn't go away, they did replace it though. However, when my mother bought my brother's Honda Accord in, she later complained to me that Jeff treated her rudely, and was reluctant to give her the 2nd car discount that I previously emailed Jeff about before my mom went in. My mom wanted to replace my brother's limo tint with lighter tint, when it was done, the back window was not done well at all, apparently the dot matrix makes it impossible to tint, and that it was the best they could do. So my queestion is, how did the previous tint shop apply the back tint so well?\r \r so, I'd say to find another tint shop if your car has the dot matrix. more

not recommended 2/15/2008

This guy does not back his work at all. Save you money and go to someone who cares about your car not ripping people off. It cost me twice as much to take my car to him,because I had to pay for someone to fix what he did. not recommended at all. more

Excellent customer service!!! Best Tint place in OC!! 11/27/2007

The owner, Jeff, really took great care of all his customers, including me. He was very professional and he explained to me about different kind of tint shades and CA law in clarity. After I got my car tinted, I found out that it needed to be re-done due to some white specks and he gladly did it while offering me a free rental car due to his tight schedule so that I can leave the car overnight and pick it up the next day. The price is reasonable and the result is excellent and professionally done. I highly recommend you to get your car windows tinted at this place! 5 stars!! more

Best Tint Job 11/12/2007

This shop is so clean and the guys there are so friendly. The owner, Jeff, explained the differences in tint quality and why he uses the best. He also cautioned against going too dark (and illigal) on the front side windows. My Winstar Van was finished on time, perfectly done and at a great rate ( I checked around). I highly recommend going here for, yes, a terrific tint! more

GREATEST TINT SHOP ANYWHERE 11/12/2007

There is no better. I have used them for many years on all my cars. There has never been an issue of value or trust. Job ALWAYS well done. Professional, pleasant to deal with. Their EMPLOYEES are by far the BEST tinters in the business. Jeff (the owner) is polite, fair and does one heck of a presentation to insure value and quality. Anyone looking for a fabo tint job has come to the right place. They are fast, precise, accurate and price friendly!!!!!!!!\r All tint is cut by computer and not on your car. Don't shop price--get quality and price all in one package. Pros: AWSOME CRAFTSMANSHIP & ATTITUDE. Cons: NONE! more

Excellent Job 8/3/2007

I drive all the way from rancho cucamonga to have my tint done These guys are teh rpos they did my cadillac and a few other cars for me and my friends they are ture professionals i dont know what these other people are talking about. If every business was run like a terrific tint we would have a great world to live in. more

after recieving quotes from many other tinting companies, i chose to go with a terrific tint. though they were not the cheapest, they proved to be well worth the money. not only was the owner professional (contrary to the above reviews) but trustworthy as well. he was honest about the legal aspect of window tinting and his employees did a wonderful job on my honda. i referred my friends and family to them and everyone was more than pleased. I LOVE THE LITTLE DOG!! more

Satisfaction not guaranteed!!! Beware. 1/9/2007

I had the shell on my full size truck tinted. The job was not very good. In-fact, it was poor. The tint was not tight to the borders of the windows. To cover up for the poor cut job...the installer used a pen (that looked like a sharpy type pen) all over the windows. It looked so bad that I had to go back and tell the owner that I was not satisfied. My 2 year old might have cut the lines better on the back window, which pealed after the first day. The owner not only did not treat me very professionaly, he slammed my back window down on the truck so hard I thought it had broken.\r \r I did get my money back. Hooray! I'll be going to a shop which treats it's customers with respect and installs at an expert level of skill.\r \r I can tell you that the place was hostile once I told the owner that I was not happy. Beware if you choose to use this shop. You might be ok with computer cut tint. I would never use them again. What a major disappointment. Pros: Central to south Orange County Cons: Not professional. Poor skill level. more

go somewhere else for window tint 7/11/2006

Had my car windows tinted last week. A white film was left around the window tint. It's called dot matrix. There are way's to prefent this from happening, however A terrific tint doesn't do it. Went back to have the white stuff removed and the owner gave me flak. He will not even attempt to remove it. So now, I have to pay someone else to remove and do the job right. What a bummer.\r \r Save your money and time and go somewhere else. If something changes and he corrects the problem, I'll let you know. more
