This place used to do a good job. They would have our dog groomed and ready to be picked up fairly fast. Then the wait times kept getting longer...and today they kept our dog for ...

This place used to do a good job. They would have our dog groomed and ready to be picked up fairly fast. Then the wait times kept getting longer...and today they kept our dog for over 3 hours and at that time he had only been shampooed and they said it would be another 45 minutes to get the haircut, and 45 minutes to actually do the haircut. Needless to say we decided to bring him home instead, and was told the shampoo cost $30. So a haircut only costs $15 of the usual $45 bill? This place is ridiculous, stay far away. more

dog abusers!!! 8/30/2010

This place is terrible!!! They had my dog there for over 13 hours just to get a hair cut, and when they did call for me to come and get him they left me a key by the back door and told me to go in that way because the owner had to leave, when i got there he was in a kennel with poop all over him, no water in his water bowlo, there was four other dogs in kennels there, the floors of the kennels were covered in poop and their water bowls were also empty.....gizmo also had a blood stain on the fur around his lip, and was acting very scared, like he had been hit. more

HORRIBLE - NEVER AGAIN!!! 7/7/2010

We had been taking out dogs to A Tail Wagon Place for years. We never had a problem, until the owner's son groomed one of our dogs. When we got him back, both of his sides and belly had extreme razor burns. It looked so bad and was redish purple, it looked like he had been beat. He even had a bruise on his nose. I will never take me dogs to this place. more

Grooming/Boarding 3/12/2010

I have always had good experiences with grooming and boarding. I have two dogs, Schnauzer and Coton De Tulear and they are always groomed properly without any nicks. Kennels are very clean. more

M. Robinson Bad and Sad Experience 4/22/2009

My parents took of their dogs to be groomed and boarded while on vacation on WI. This place lost one of the dogs on Good Friday(4-10-09). They did not let them know until they went to pick them up on the following Wed. that she was gone. It is now April 22 and still no sign of her. They had my phone number here in Lancaster as a emergency #, but didn't call me. Very Irresponsible. My parents are heart broken. more

Do not use 4/19/2009

This place lost my parents dog on good Friday and never contacted them until they went to pick her up 5 minutes later and were pretty non-chalant about the whole issue. more

Excellent 11/14/2005

When in need of a good washing for your pet, and you just dont feel up to the daunting task yourself, A tail waggin place is the place to go with your doggie in tow. They provided excellent customer service, reasonable prices on bathing and grooming(nail clipping), friendly and knowledgable staff, and pleasant surroundings. My dog smelled and looked good, and enjoys her visits. more
