this is the balducci's of long island!! old world charm with a modern twist. the home made fresh mozzarella melts in your mouth.get there early - it sells out fast! everything about this place is authentic,especially the owner vincenzo(vinny).his personality alone is worth the trip.try their roasted peppers or their hand made sausage. perhaps you fancy an imported olive oil or italian bread from brooklyn!! the best!! parmegano reggiano to die for. their penne a la vodka,chicken parmesian & italian hero's are a must at family gatherings. trust me,mamma won't be disappointed. order a few days in advance for the holidays,the line is around the block! ah,good things come to those who wait. buon appetito!!!
