The Center A Place of HOPE is, in my view, much like a short semester of college, where the subject is how to take care of yourself and find joy and meaning in life. Unlike college, however, everyone here is vulnerable and honest - we're all going through it. No is here to pretend to be OK, and that leads to a deep level of validation from your peers around you who are all struggling with the challenge of being a human being, just like you are. If you come to the Center with an attitude of both willingness to change, and a willingness to look at yourself and your life experiences HONESTLY, you will be given invaluable resources to do the incredibly important work of self-discovery and self-healing. This place will not magically FIX you, because only you have that power. Instead, it will give you the next best thing: the environment and the tools to fix yourself, and a place to rediscover who you are away from all your life circumstances. And let me tell you, who you are is worthy, valid and lovable. That's the honest truth.
