ze you are correct. It is unconscionable that a company takes advantage of the disenfranchised workers in our community. I am surprised that reputable temp. agencies even have a contract with such turds. The manager's are lazy & rude. There was no training, other than listening to phone calls by a fouled mouth employee, language that would make a sailor blush ! talk some poor soul into "" renewing their contract"". That was all it took for me to decide to never return to this shady place. more

I am a part time teacher and have worked on and off with AMR for several years. Although I was not a manager, I can attest to the fact that AMR does drug screens and background checks on all their employees. I have seen the way they handle employees who act outside the AMR code of conduct. They are terminated immediately. I would guess that this is the case with these negative reviews. I commend the way AMR treats their employees and clients. From what I have seen, it is with the highest of values. I would recommend any company to work with AMR. more

I used to work for this company and can vouch for everything hansong97 has said. Approximately 80% of the employees I helped hire were directly from a halfway house or were on work release from prison for crimes such as drug trafficking, rape, assault, fraud, armed robbery, and a slew of others.\r \r I also was one of the many people they had help them edit recordings to remove things their telemarketers had said that would get them in hot water. They've also scammed their newspaper clients by falsifying hundreds of false orders/upgrades at a time to make their weekly goals, then later recanting those orders once recordings are requested. \r \r They've also devised a scheme many years ago (not sure if they're still using it) with the Pioneer Press to sign up thousands of people for newspaper service right before circulation counts come in for advertising rates to boost the newspaper's numbers. After they get their grossly inflated circulation count, they cancel those subscriptions and tell those customers they made a mistake but enjoy the free papers they received. \r \r Finally, they are prone to violating FCC guidelines about dropped call rations and turn off their automated dialer's protection against this. Basically, law states that if you use an automated dialer you can dial on more lines than you have employees (example; dial 25 phone numbers for 20 employees) because statistically, not all 25 lines will answer. If more people answer than their are employees, however, the dialer drops the call immediately. The limit on dropped calls is, if I remember correctly, 2%. They would set the dialer to allow up to 30% at times, just so the chances of every employee getting a live contact after every single call is much greater.\r \r Overall, this is a very shady company I would never recommend anybody doing business with. They are very ethical for the first few months of getting a new client but as soon as they devise a way to manipulate the system to their advantage without getting caught, they will pounce on it.\r \r Final note: I do have evidence of all my claims. more

Nobody should be in business with this company. they edit all of their calls to save themselves from much needed prosecution. to everyone in the marketing industry, please, please do yourselves a favor and never do business with this company again, or at all. Their employers are accepting employees to represent your companies that are sex offenders, child molesters, multiple felons, and therefore the employers themselves treat their employees like they are working in a sweatshop. with little to no money to support themselves unless they are manipulating the system again and again to create those commissions. and again, all of that is protected by their editing, and fake smiles and fake tans to cover their tracks. Horrible service, and i wouldnt reccomend them to anyone. Remember, the customers that you seek to earn revenue from where you would need to obtain personal information from them from this company's employees is putting your customers in potential danger of identity theft, if not worse. Not to mention inproper representation, and reflection on your company itself. more

I've been contacted by this firm several time over the years which lead me to investigate. From every source I found that had any dealings with them had very good things to say.\r \r I also found that they contract consumer protection companies to make sure the y are in compliance. \r \r They seem to be members of all the creditable marketing organizations and each one I talked to said they go over and above to protect their clients and their customers.\r \r No worries with this company\r more

I found that AMR was editing recordings before they sent them to us, which covered their butts, but left us with a heck of a legal battle. I talked to many of their other clients afterwards, and basically got the same story from them. Great results, but when lawyers came knocking on the door, their recordings conveniently left out the illegal parts of the conversation. I'd look elsewhere before using these guys, they most likely won't be in business very long. Pros: they get you the results you need Cons: They do it by using illegal tactics more
