This is the best place to get a used car. Hands down there sales person/ owner was very helpful to me. Chance Hart worked with me with a 1000 down I got a 98 Honda civic with low mile. I also got to meet there Mechanic Kenny who was also helpful giving me tips and advice. I love this place. They also offer services Like oil changes, tire changes, front in alignments, and also state inspection. You really can not find a better car lot than this especially if i ever need work done to my vehicle the labor is only $40 an hour. Wow is all i can say because most mechanic shop i have been to is $80 an hour. From now on i got me a place were they make you feel welcome and make want to go buy me another car.. more

Wonderful experience! I drove all the way from Raleigh to look at a vehicle b/c of the reviews I read about A Lot of Cars. I picked up a cheap $2500 vehicle because I am a college student and have no money. It's been four months now and I haven't had a single issue. I've recommended this place to all my friends because finding a good used car dealership is tough. more

Family Feel. Great Service. Wonderful selection of Cars. 3/17/2011

I had only $1500 for a downpayment from my tax refund, and I have terrible credit. They worked with me and listened instead of trying to push me toward the car they wanted to sell me. I had about 30 cars to chose from and test drove three of them I liked. I love my Honda! It drives great and I haven't had any major problems with it. Unlike some of the other dealers I went to in Durham, A Lot of Cars had low mileaged Hondas, Toyotas, GMs and Nissans. They also had a wide selection of cars under $3000, but I was looking for a very specific car for myself. When you need repairs done, you can just take your car back to either their Durham or Roxboro location and they will fix it really cheap. I've recommended this place to all of my friends at church b/c it really feels like they want you to have a great experience buying a car. more

Best car dealer in the Triangle!! Hands Down 5/11/2009

I only had $1000 for a downpayment and I ended up driving away with a great car. Since I had such a great experience with my car and working with the people at A Lot of Cars, I've referred my brother and a cousin of mine who have also had great experiences. They take care of you and treat you with respect and kindness. I've had a few minor repairs that the car has needed and I take all my repairs back to A Lot of Cars b/c you can't beat their prices and the repairs are quality. If you ever have a problem, you just take it back to the dealer and they get right on diagnosing the problem for free. If it needs to be fixed, they charge you 50% off of what the labor would be at another place. I looked into the A/C repair I had done was really cheap at A Lot of Cars versus another mechanic shop. If you are shopping around for a vehicle, definitely stop by A Lot of Cars. They will continue to take care of you even after you're done making your monthly payments. Pros: Great selection and great warranty Cons: Lots of papers to fill out more

How does this place stay in business? 5/7/2009

I don't know how this place stays in business. The employees are very rude and their vehicle are faulty. The financing charges are outragious and the vehicles are priced well over the blue book value. Beware of these scammers. Pros: you can most definetly drive off in a car Cons: no telling what piece of do-do car you'll end up with more

Read the Reviews and They are True.....Best Dealer I've Purchased a Car From 3/1/2009

My friends at the hospital had told me to visit A Lot of Cars and so I looked them up online to see what other people had said. The reviews I read were good and so was my experience which is why i felt I should write a review as well. Pros: Selection of vehicles and all the services they provide you for as long as you own the vehicle Cons: It is nearly impossible to park there -- I park at the BP Gas Station whenever I need to go make a payment. more

Durham's BEST car dealer 2/15/2009

We stopped at A Lot of Cars because it was right down the road from us. They were really straightforward and not pushy at all. We ended up with a really nice Toyota Camry that was clean and hasn't given us any problems at all. At the time, they had 5 Toyotas and 6 Hondas for us to choose from. Some of which were only $1000 down. Pros: Wide selection and the services they provide you after you purchase your car Cons: The wait to test drive the vehicle was kinda long but its because they refuse to hire salespeople. You mainly end up working with one of the owners. more

Best car purchasing experience I've ever had 2/1/2009

I heard great things about A Lot of Cars through my sister who purchased a car there two years ago. I don't have the best credit but they worked with me with only $1000 down. The whole experience was a pleasure. As long as you have the right amount for the downpayment, you don't have to wait there forever to get credit approval.....I was out the door with keys in hand withing 20 minutes. If you don't have the full amount down, they can do a lay away on your car until you come up with the rest of the money. Pros: $500 in free gas!!! Quick approval for financing, layaway program, mechanical services for as long as you own your car! Cons: It is really impossible to get in and out of their lot because of all the cars, so I just park next door at the BP gas station more

Best used car dealer in Triangle! 1/16/2009

Only had $1000 for a downpayment and they worked with me without givin me a runaround. Bought a really nice Lincoln that to this day rides really smooth. I've recommended this place to a lot of my friends because they take care of you. It's been two years now and I'm working with them to get another car. Pros: They are looking out for you even after you pay off your car. Repairs, diagnostic work, gas money..... Cons: If you want a car, you better put money on it to hold it because it will be sold quick. I lost out on two cars that were sold before I could get my money straight. more

Best Car Dealer in Triangle 12/22/2008

This place was recommended to me by my sister who had a good experience there. There were well over 150 cars to choose from and the salespeople spoke fluent spanish and english. I ended up getting a nice chevy pickup truck for only $1000 down. I've had it for just over a year and have recommended friends of mine to visit their business since they really take care of you and your vehicle after the purchase. Pros: vehicle selection and they treat you like family if you have any problems with your truck Cons: none really that I can think of right now more

Wonderful experience -- especially for a used car dealership! 9/24/2008

I heard about A Lot of Cars through a friend of mine who spoke highly of them. I was skeptical at first, but ended up really enjoying my experience of not only purchasing a car, but financing it and getting repairs done. Pros: Low downpayments and they will help you with financing and repairs for as long as you own the car. Cons: They need more salespeople! We had to wait for about 10 minutes for them to finish up with other customers. more

They DO have A LOT of cars.... 9/25/2007

I thought the name of this place was kinda funny so I decided to check it out. They had close to 150 cars, trucks, SUVs, vans etc.... I was looking for a small car that was not a stick shift. I didn't feel pressured and the car salesman left me alone to think about my options. Pros: great selection, friendly people, on lot financing, mechanics on site to help you in the future Cons: hard to get in and out of their parking lot, need to have patience because there are only two salespeople more

Great people! 3/9/2006

A wonderful experience. Prices were reasonable, but the best part is the service. The dealership stands by their product with a 5 bay garage and mechanics who service your car even after you purchase it. They don't charge much to keep it maintained. Pros: Honest, Mechanics, Good Cars more
