A Jazzy Dog

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO THIS LADY...SHE NEEDS PSYCHOLOGICAL HELPPPPPP. \r \r OMG I want to know what took someone so long to report this lady..my opinion is that she has a SERIOUS MENTAL ISSUE. I took my Maltese over to her Business in 2008 and she was a mean and bitter woman. I NEVER went back. She made it seeem as if it was me who had the problem by having another customer agree with her. SHE CLEARLY has some mental issues and I feel sorry for the poor dogs who are helpless and were in her caer. She needs the max penallty for her crime. I pray my dog did not encounter this abuse while in her care at Jazzy DOG...I went there one time and NEVER went back. Please SHUT THIS BUSINESS DOWN FOREVER more

There is something terribly wrong with this woman. This explains why my Maltese puppy would literally jump from Christina's brutal arms across the table into my arms when I would pick my puppy up after dropping her off to be groomed. She would tuck her head into my arm, whimper and shiver for at least 30 minutes after picking her up. When I pointed out how she was shaking and behaving, Christina said, she was just spoiled."" I asked herwhy she said she was spoiled and she said she could just tell"". I never questioned her comment, thinking my puppy was just used to being with only me. The very first time I brought my Maltese to Christina, with A Jazzy Dog, I expressed my concern about the grooming area because she had not completed her baby shots and I was being cautious regarding Parvo or other transmitted viruses. She went into a rage, yelling at me telling me that she worked for a vet for many years and that she knows what she's doing and has never had a sick dog in her shop. I let it go because I thought that maybe I insuted her. Another occassion when I picked up my puppy, her hair was so chopped, it was unevenly cut and it did not blend. Her facial area was very uneven and she no longer looked like a Maltese puppy. After the bad cut, I started bringing her on Saturdays only for a bath. At that time, Christina mentioned she also boarded pets and not knowing any better I called asking about her boarding fees so I could board my puppy to go out of town. She AGAIN yelled and screamed that she didn't board animals and how dare I call her early in the morning and hung up on me. That was the last time I brought my puppy to her. It makes my skin crawl to think of what she may have put my puppy through the times that I did leave her with Christina. I don't think I will every trust anyone again with my puppy except her Vet, Pontchartrain Animal Hospital. I hope Christina serves a very long time for her animal abuse and hope I never see her place open for business again!!!!!\r \r By the way, Christina HAD TO HAVE PUT SOMEONE UP TO POSTING POSITIVE COMMENTS BECAUSE IT IS SO UNTRUE. If I were giving a comment I would definitely put my real email address and not guest user. Definitely put someone up to the review!!!!! more

After seeing this place on the news, I checked out the website. Where did they learn to groom? The Westie doesn't even look like one and the Cocker has the worst haircut I have ever seen. Looks like a home groom. more

After seeing the news I would NEVER bring my pet to her. She SLAMMED dogs heads onto the tables, let dogs hang in the air by their leash, slammed the WHOLE dog into a table several times. ITS ON TODAYS NEWS!!!!! more

I dropped my Maltese puppy off to be groomed, washed, clipped, and dipped. I got a call back from this women yelling at me to come pick up my dog because it had bit her and that she did not want to continue to groom her. I was so mad i walked in grabbed ""my dog"" and left more

I was very disappointed with A Jazzy Dog. More specifically, Christina. I read such wonderful reviews on here about her and this establishment. I was very disheartened by how rude and impolite Christina was. She spoke very degradingly to me and I will not go back to A Jazzy Dog, nor will I recommend that any of my friends in the Dog Breeding business bring their pets here. more

Who Dat Saints fans. I just had my lab groomed with Christina at A Jazzy Dog and they can now cut in a Fleur De Lis logo on the back. It will be great when I have my friends over this weekend for the game. You need to stop by her shop and see the photos of the other dogs they have done. more

This was the worst experience I had ever had!!! I was scarred and was scared to bring my dog anywhere else. This woman is so unprofessional and I have heard this from many other people. I'm not sure how she found a few people to write a positive comment on here. She not only hacked my yorkies hair but also cut my friend's dogs leg. When I talked to her about me being unhappy she just screamed at me. DON'T TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!!! more

Where do I start with the bad haircut or the fact that the owner started yelling and screaming at my husband. Then she called back the next day to apologize and started yelling and screaming again. Very bad experience. more

Just like to say that is a nice day spa for my Lily Shes loves going to see Christine and her staff She comes out glowing and the personal attention is very nice to see in our society these days Great Job ladies thanks for being so personable to my Lily and to me Eve. more

Jazzy Dog does an excellent job grooming our pets. We have been with Christina from the beginning and she has always treated our pets like they were her own with tender loving care. more

I have a three legged Golden Retriever, Trip. He requires a bit of extra attention when getting bathed and clipped. Christina takes great care of him, and he is always a handsome lad when she is finished. Christina treats my baby like her own more

Christina..you are wonderful and do a great job with Boudreaux. He is well overdue for his trip to see you. I tell all my furry friends to come visit you. Call ya' as soon as I have time to breath! more

Hershey and Madison, our Cocker Spaniels, love to be groomed here. Christina and staff are kind, patient, and do an excellent job. more

I'm always very comfortable bringing my dog here because the owner is kind, the establishment is kept very clean and the animals are handled very well. She takes her time to make sure everything is just perfect and is great about calling and letting you know when the animal is ready to be picked up. I've only had great experiences with Jazzy Dog. more

Christina does a GREAT job of grooming my dog exactly as I ask her to. She loves the dogs and is very patient with them. She tries very hard to accomodate me as a customer. more

Beautiful ,clean and great smelling! Dogs are groomed out in the open and not hauled away to a backroom. The groomers personally talk to you about what style you want and what the dog needs.Directions are written down in front of me so that there is no confusion about the groom. I like that the best! Also, they support the local artists.They have the cutest one of a kind doggie outfits there on consignment from local seamstresses. Also, a young guy who does gorgeous doggie portraits. A Jazzy Dog is a cool, classy and funky fun shop! more
