I had gotten multiple bids and estimates and I really appreciated that he didn't try to up-sell or try to sell me anything I wasn't looking for. He provided an honest quote and the service, overall, was excellent. more

Responsive, responsible, reasonable, and considerate. 1/22/2014

I called Mark at A Five Star Company. It was a really cold day, my heater was not going up very fast, and I was afraid it was going out. He was very responsive and came out the same day I called. He said the heater was not properly wired and it was also missing a heat strip, there needed to be two heat strips. He ordered those parts, was very responsible, came back and fixed it. It took a long time, but he gave me a generous deal and I appreciated that. I'm a widow and don't have a lot. He showed me a lot of consideration for me and my property. Everything seems to be working fine and I believe he would be back checking it out if it wasn't. I appreciate Mark's work. I definitely would like for him to come back (when needed). more

Wonderful. Mark is a miracle worker. 12/22/2013

We have several properties and one of the tenants was having problems with the air/heating. I called another company first and they were giving me a bunch of nonsense, saying I had to install a new unit for several thousand dollars. I ran into Mark at A Five Star Company and he went and fixed the whole thing in only two minutes! It was like a miracle. He was right there on the spot when he said was going to be, reasonably priced, prompt, and efficient. I was really impressed with his work. We're going to use his services for all the other properties as well. more

About a year ago, I had a heating unit that went down in my house. I had about three different people come out to do quotes. A Five Star Company was able to replace the motor for me for hundreds of dollars instead of thousands. Everyone else was trying to make a dollar off of me, I think. The system has been working fine through the seasons, and A Five Star has come out again to check on everything. more

Attention to Detail 7/11/2013

A five was quick to come to our aid as our A/C went out in 111 degrees and high humidity heat wave. Mark was patient and detailed with our unscrupulous warranty company. Our services from him have spanned over 2 weeks with the complications from the warranty company. Thanks for hanging in there with our situation. more

Great service, professional, gets the job done! 5/4/2013

If you ever have a problem with your A/C do yourself a favor and call Mark, the God of A/C. He made our horrible experience without A/C an awesome experience. We were without A/C on a extremely hot day & Mark came and diagnosed the problem. He showed Excellent customer service and just was an all around great guy. His performance is overall above average and customer satisfaction is his overall goal. I highly recommend A Five Star co for air conditioning, heating, & refrigeration services. Our A/C is working better then ever. more

Great Service 1/28/2013

I highly recommend A Five Star Co. We were without heat on a cold winter Sunday and Mark came out to diagnose the problem within hours of my call. He was able to get our heater running until he was able to get the replacement part the next day. He promptly called the next day and installed the new part. He was prompt, professional and competent. Five stars for Five Star. more

A Five Star put in a new HVAC unit for me. They tried to repair my old unit, but when they saw it was beyond repair that's when they put in the new one. They were very efficient and answered all my questions. They were very good. more

Do yourself a favor, if you have a problem with your AC or Furnace, call Mark. There is none better. He is quick, efficient, honest, and no one can diagnose and fix a problem better. He is a rare find. He fixes problems other companies can't or are not willing to and at a reasonable price. You won't be sorry. He is the best. more

Total experience was terrific 3/22/2012

I am an out-of-town landlord and called for a tenant with no heat late in the afternoon. The unit could not be repaired as it was very old (30+ years) and replacement parts are no longer available. Mark was able to get a replacement unit on site and installed the next day including county inspections. They were professional, timely and competitive. I would recommend and use again. Anytime I've called A Five Star Company, they were here as soon as possible. If one employee was unavailable, he would send someone else to make sure I was satisfied. They are professional and very courteous with my tenants. more

Very good. 12/1/2011

I'm very happy with Mark at A Five Star Company. He has done work for me several times, and I call A Five Star Company for him. He is very good. Two times now I have had somebody from another company come over to fix something for me. One time it was my heater, and the guy gave me the runaround, then another time a guy got up on the roof and told me a needed a new unit, but I could tell he didn't know what he was talking about. I called Mark both times and he solved the problem. He knows what he's doing! more

I manage five apartment complexes, and I use A Five Star Company to service the AC and heater units. I've been using him for about a year now, and he responds quickly when I call him and is able to get to the complex in a timely manner. He does a good job at a very reasonable price. more
