High Tea in Roseville's Tea Parlor 11/27/2009

Good: The food is absolutely wonderful! Large quantity of gourmet courses (individual tea pots, scone, cinnamon roll, variety of petite sandwiches, premium soup, pear salad, vegetable quiche, variety of very nice desserts). The french-deco tea parlor (tea room) is classy and chic. Very tasteful art and decor. Tables had black tablecloths, white doillies, clear crystal plates and crystal cups and goblets. 3 tier stands with cute table decorations. Vanity Closet was a hit. Hats, boas, scarves, jewelry, and more. Bad: I didn't like that I have never heard of this tea house before!. Improvements: Nothing I can think of.. Other: This business is MORE than just a tea parlor! They have other services as well! The front has a cute cafe and ice cream parlor. The menu had great sounding sandwiches for a little over $5/ea. The ice cream is handmade and the sundaes look very tastie! I ordered a white mocha to go and it was way better than Starbucks and MUCH cheaper! I saw a sign that said they won an award for Roseville's Best Salad.. more

Easter Tea event was really nice 5/1/2009

I've reviewed panache before (quite a while ago) and we went back last month for the Easter High Tea event. Excellent, excellent food and service. The host was very friendly and the servers were polite and efficient. The host allowed us to publically share blessings in our lives because of the spiritual holiday. It was very nice. If you haven't visited their tea parlor and tasted their great food, you are missing out on a hidden jewel. more

They have a tea parlor there and it's very wonderful 11/1/2007

My friends and I have visited their little cafe several times before we realized they have a full-blown tea parlor further back in the building! Some of us made reservations and it was wonderful! I hadn't had that much fun in years. I didn't think I'd like the dress-up closet at first but my friends and I eventually starting giggling like little girls and the laughter didn't stop through the whole event. Their decor is very unique and fun and their food was absolutely fantastic (I need more adjectives here but hopefully you get the picture). This is a hidden treasure that we stumbled upon and I would encourage you to try it out. They taught us to brew loose tea in the pots like pros and everything was homemade (food). I was interested in their "story" as writting in their tea menu but when I finally read the details of their family story online, I was thrilled. What a blessing they were to us. more

Not just for the girls 3/4/2007

My wife and I agreed to meet some friends in the Roseville area and A Dash of Panache was very conveniently located on Vernon St. Although it appears to be catered to the females, the four of us throughly enjoyed the home-like atmosphere as we had a light dinner (the Tuscan is great), ice cream, and Italian-style coffees. They really know how to make a great cappuccino. We have made it a regular stop when we're in town. Thanks Alvord family. more

Fun for my whole family. We had a blast in many different ways! 10/5/2006

My husband loved their Tuscan sandwich special and my kids loved the great ice cream sundaes. My mom, daughter, and I enjoyed the tea parlor (which included dress-up in the Vanity Closet). We also plan to hold my daughter's next birthday party there too (she hasn't decided between a princess or a diva party yet). They even have a nice gift shop. more
