Unfortunately I am not allowed to rate this kennel with negative stars, which is the only reason I voted it 1/5. Like many others I was suckered in by the pamphlets with pictures...

Angels in Miami 1/26/2012

I live 2 hours away from A Country Cat House had a major emergency with a death on a family member and they were able to make arrangements after hours so I can bring my cat to this amazing facility. They have taken care of my cat for the last few years but their empathy, cooperation and understanding with my situation I will never be able to repay. This is the best place for my cat. This is the only place I trust that is why I don't minding driving from Naples to Kendall..... it is worth it! more

A Country Cat House is my ONLY choice!!! 11/14/2009

My boy Onyx has been cared for lovingly by Josie & Staff since he was a tiny kitten!! They are my ONLY choice when I need to travel. It's great peace of mind knowing that he is in their hands!! Country Cat House is a VERY special place. Thank you for the OUTSTANDING service & care that you have always provided!! PS- Onyx loves his bear!!! more

A Country Cat House is great 10/22/2009

I have been taking my kitty to A COUNTRY CAT HOUSE for more than six years. He has always been treated excellently. Josie, who coordinates all kitty-care, does a splendid job of making sure that your kitty's needs will personally be met. The rest of the staff does an equally good job in following through and caring for each Kitty's individual needs. I recommend A COUNTRY CAT HOUSE for the safest and most reliable care. more

A Country Cat House is the Best 10/11/2009

We have two cats. Josie is their second mama. Not a complaint out of them when they are "going to see Josie".Not a worry for me when I am taking them to see Josie because I know they are loved and well taken care of. A country Cat House has been their second home for 8-9 years now. I would not leave them anywhere else. more

The Best Place for Your Cat's Vacation 9/22/2009

If you have to board a cat, this is THE place! Our Miss Kitty has been going to the Country Cat House for her vacations for over four years. We never have to worry about a thing when she is there, Josie and the staff are wonderful! I know Miss Kitty is very relaxed there, she never gets upset when I drop her off or when I pick her up. Plus she gets to have "free" time out of her kitty condo everyday. We would not go anywhere else. more

Best place for a your cat's vacation 8/27/2009

These guys really do a great job. We have been using them for about four years now. Every day each kitty gets to have some ""free"" time out of their cat condo and many condos come with a garden view. I never worry at all when our Miss Kitty is on her vacation at the Country Cathouse, I know she is well taken care of and will come home nice & clean and relaxed. Pros: They REALLY care about cats Cons: Can't think of any more

The one place I have found that makes me feel secure leaving my cat for any period of time. Josie and her staff are very caring with each animal and conscientious with matters of health and cleanliness. I am a repeat customer, and have recommended this facility to several cat-loving friends. Pros: Peaceful environment, caring service for cats only! Cons: A little far out (not a real drawback) more

A Country Cat House offers great vacations for cats 8/23/2009

We've used the Country Cat House for more than ten years. Our two cats receive excellent care - the holidays are really special for them as well as us. Josie always gives us a report when we return and the cats never seem angry at us for leaving them (except for the car ride home), so I figure they enjoyed the food, the grooming, and the attention. more

If you must board your pets, this is THE place to go 8/20/2009

I have been boarding my cats with A Country Cat House for about five years now. I would not trust anyone else - they are the best! Great service, reasonable rates, and most importantly, they treat your cats like family. One year two of my cats became ill while I was on vacation (I had them vacinnated right before boarding which they now advise against doing). I was notified immediately and the owners treated them like their own pets. They were treated by the vet and were fine. I was never worried at any time my cats were here. They always come home looking relaxed and happy. If you must board your pets, this is the place to go! more

Ms. Josie and her staff treat your cats like family. I have been boarding my cats here for five years and would never go anywhere else. My cats are always at ease when they arrive and come home happy and relaxed. If you must board your cats, this the the place to be! The ONLY place for a MY cat 8/19/2009

I have had MANY wonderful experiences with Josie! She has taken care of my treasured Hazel MANY times with love. The drive is a little far, but when we pull up to the house, you can tell the peacefulness that she has. Josie loves and watches my cat as if she were her own- I have NEVER seen this in someone before. When she updates me on Hazel's progress, she has clearly spent extensive time with her- recognizing her quirks and personality traints. When I pick up Hazel, she is relaxed and content- something that rarely happens with my high-maintenance kitty. I have seen Josie work wonders on even the most uptight of cats. Truly impressive- I could never go anywhere else. more

Pampering for our Senior Cat 8/19/2009

Josie provides real individualized care for our Old Lady Kitty when we travel. She has her own ""condo"" and personal litter box and a picture window overlooking bird feeder and pond, as well as a chance to nap in the sunny Florida room for a while every day. It is scary to leave an 18-yr old cat, but this facility makes us very comfortable knowing that she is carefully tended and that her vet will be contacted immediately if any symptoms should appear (none have!) I could not recommend A Country Cat House more strongly! Pros: Personal care, lovely individual accommodations Cons: a little tricky to find more

I have taken my pets to numerous boarding facilities and have NEVER been more impressed than with the service I receive at A County Cat House from Josie. My cat absolutely LOVES it there- she always comes home peaceful, content, and healthy. Josie will learn your cat's personality so quickly that you will be amazed! Even the most challenging cats are relaxed with her- it is truly impressive. I can go on vacation or business trips with confidence that my kitty is in good hands with Josie. I can call and get updates, which are always detailed and individualized- it is clear that Josie has spent time with my cat. She monitors everything to ensure that my cat is safe, healthy, and always happy. To see my high maintenance cat calm and satisfied says A LOT about her experience. I couldn't be happier. The only place for cats to stay 8/18/2009

Cat lovers and travel aficionados look no more! There are no better place for your kitty to stay than the Country Cat House when you go away. I know both my cats Wiley and Joey are spoiled and demanding. And when I leave them under the care of Josie and the staff of the Country Cat House I know that they are being pampered more than I could ever imagine. Not only do they get around the clock attention but they are also groomed, their coat is never as shiny and fragrant than when they come back from their vacation at the kitty hotel. It's a great feeling to be able to leave and not have to worry about my furry children. I am so thankful to Josie and the staff for the work they do. more

We have boarded our exotic shorth hair, Oreo, with the Country Cat House since he was a kitten. Josie and the staff at Country Cat House pamper our beloved Oreo and it always such a relief to know that when we leave Oreo at Country Cat House, we are leaving him with family!! more

Peace of mind 8/18/2009

I am a great fan of A Country Cat House and ever since I've left my kitties under the care of Josie and the staff I cannot imagine leaving them anywhere else! I know when I travel that I do not need to worry about my cats because not only are they pampered and love but they get to be in a very relaxing setting in the middle of beautiful Horse Country, what a treat! A Country Cat House is numero uno!!! 8/18/2009

I travel around the country with my diabetic cat, Harmony. Every now and then during my assignment, I have to board her so I have had experience with many many facilities. By far and away, A Country Cat House, under the direction of Josie, is the BEST place ANYWHERE. I love it when we are back home in Fort Lauderdale knowing that if Harmony needs to be boarded, Josie will be taking care of her. There is no better place in the country than A COUNTRY CAT HOUSE for excellent care of your precious pet. more
