This is the only place I'll go from now on for used or new parts for my vehicles. My mechanic told me he needed a Proportioning Valve to fix the brakes on my '94 Town Car. A what? I'd never heard of such a thing. He told me a new one was going to cost me over $200, so he suggested I try to find one used. I got online and made a list of all the used auto parts places in the Cleveland west side area and started driving. The first 5 places sent me out into the yard to look for myself. Well even if I found it, which was unlikely, I didn't have any tools or interest in trying to get it out myself. I was getting pretty discouraged when I pulled into A&C. It didn't look much different than the rest except that they seemed to be really busy. I got in line (I hate lines) but with so many guys working the desk it only took about a minute to get called over. Long story short, They searched 8 vehicles to find the part. i called every other wrecking yard for the starter and not one of them had it, and i was about to spend $80 on a referb, but then i was told to try A&C so i figured it was worth a shot so i called and sure enough he said he had it and that would he take it out for me and i could pick it up the next day, and for a very reasonable price of 25 dollars, i was all over it,so i would recommend them to anyone who needs a hard to find part, or the part at a very reasonable price more

We have used A & C Auto Parts on many different occasions. This is actually a junkyard which is located on the other side of the city from us, but we still often find ourselves trekking it out there for something every so often. They have the best prices on used car parts, and often are the only ones who have those hard-to-find pieces. It's so nice to be able to go there to get a headlight or a door part or something that would cost a lot of money new for next to nothing. We always call around, and either other places just don't have what we're looking for, or their prices are enough higher than A & C's that it makes the trip across town worth it. This place is especially great for the do-it-yourself mechanic or someone fixing up an older car. more
