To Whome It May Concern: A Better Moving Company moved my mother, Genevieve Spangler, from Sacramento to San Jose on July 25, 2002. This move was very difficult for my mother who is 85 years old. She was leaving her home of 45 years. The two men you sent, Shane and John, were a blessing in disguise. The van arrived on time. Both men were very highly organized and did not waste time. Because we had three stops to make this was very important. They not only treated her belongings with care and respect, but also did everything they could to make the move easier for her. After arriving in San Jose they place her boxes in the correct rooms and even moved some pieces of furniture several times. I really do not know how to say thank you. I will recommend your company and these two men to friends who are moving. Thank you again! more

I write this letter to congratulate you on having two of the most courteous and professional movers on your staff. Today, Bob and John spent seven hours moving heavy, complicated desks and other furniture items between our first and second floor offices here in Rancho Cordova. Bob and John were highly skilled and very careful with our new furniture. They were also very polite and friendly and they made the moving process as stress-free as possible. Because Bob and John were so competent, I was able to concentrate on my job today, instead of worrying about the move and all the things that could potentially go wrong. Thank you! Thank you for the best moving experience we have ever had, and we've had more than enough experience moving including 7 major and minor movies in the last 5 years. We've used other local and national firms over the years. None came near to your performance. Your team, Kyle and Jeff, were wonderful. They were skillful, careful, energetic, and efficient. They were so cheerful throughout that it was a positive pleasure to see them around. Not that our move didn't present them with many problems. We presented them with lots of problems; furniture too big to fit through a door, frail pieces of furniture and irreplaceable antiques, packed boxes galore, and lots of breakables, everything that can make a move difficult. But everything arrived safe and sound (which has never happened to us before) and in the place we wanted it to be. At the end of the day we felt like shouting for joy because this move was so well done. In all our previous moves we had goods damaged, things misplaced, and were left in in a state of semi-chaos. Not so with your work. I'm recommending you to all our friend, and I would recommend you to anyone who wants moving to be an efficient, organized, and satisfying experience. more

I would like to commend Jeff and Jeromy who moved me yesterday. I am a senior citizen with back problems and needed items placed for my convenience. They moved closet to closet, shelf to shelf, drawer to drawer, etc. They connected my computer and cable. They were very diligent workers, polite, friendly and very accomodating. This is to let you know how much we appreciated the teamwork and efficiency of the gentlemen who moved my furniture. Keyle, Fernando, and Greg were a terrific team of pleasant and hard working men who endured cold, wind, and rain( sounds like the Post Office logo!) on that December 13 and 14. Everything went smoothly from our perspective; they aimed to please. For sure, both residences were aired completely! Leaves blew in the front door and out the back! After delivering my furniture to Spyglass and returning to Mariposa, the troops keep right on marching per Kyle's intructions in rearranging some furnishings in Mr. Whitehead's residence. The Mariposa residence was built in 1941 and through Kyle's insight and maneuvering, was able to get an oversized wooden headboard built in 1987 up a stairs with a landing, quick turn to the right under an irregularly angled ceiling that looked like an impossible task. You have a super team in Kyle, Fernando and Greg. They should be cloned! more

Today, John, Warren, and Jeremy removed my belongings from what was my house for 23 years. It could have been traumatic, but they made it easy. The 3 men worked as an efficient team. They were respectful to both me and my belongings as they proficiently emptied my house. They were true professionals. Obviously, I was very pleased with their service. more

I am gathering information for a future move, and when I called, Steve spent the time explaining the process and how the moving charges are calculated. I write, somewhat belatedly, to tell you what a fantastic job your company did for me when I moved from Sacramento into the Sierra foothills earlier this year. I had already booked a moving company when I found myself in your store, the Monday before my Thursday move, looking for wrapping items. You did such an excellent selling job on the merits of your company over your competition that I cancelled my other moving company that evening and booked A Better Moving the next day. Being in law school and working, I felt confident that your company would do a fine job without causing me stress. Needless to say, your crew, Jeff and Greg, turned up on time at my house. They were very considerate of my kitten, making sure not to pack him in the truck! They were also very careful with my pieces of antique furniture. Furthermore, they were cheerful and professional throughout the entire move. I felt my blongings were completely safe with them from beginning to end.
