This was the second year that our air conditioner that was only 7 years old blew a compressor and board. It was underrated for our house and they advised me last year to get a new system and we tried to "get by". Well, this year, it happened again and they worked out the financing for us to get an entire new system with the highest SEER rating available in today's market and the difference between our old installation and this one was like night and day. It was truly done right and very professionally done and has worked flawlessly since the day it was installed. Our old system ran 24/7 from May to September without ever shutting off. This new one barely comes on and we keep our house at 67 degrees and it seems to handle it with no problems and when it does come on, you can't even hear it. Awesome system, service, sales, and installation team and by far the best heat and air company that I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. If you are trying to decide whether or not to get a new system, give Mike Emerson a call and he will give you a fair assessment and quote of what you need and believe me, they always take care of everything and include more that what the quote was and make sure you are completely satisfied before, during, and after the install is completed. I will refer anyone and everyone that I know of about the excellent experience I have had with A Best Air & Heat because I hate to pay for something that is not done right as I'm sure you do too. Serviced 11 units for me. Scheduled quickly and knocked them out. Also had a quick service call and the worked me in and took care of the problem. Only fly in the ointment is I wanted the filters changed in all units since they are rentals. One unit that was dirty didn't get changed. Renter says he will change but never happens. Really want new filters with the service check. more

The two technicians who came out were very good. They were on time and introduced themselves when they got there. Also they took the time to explain exactly what they found to both me and my husband. They also told us our optioned and did not pressure us to choose one or another. Also I would like to thank the person who scheduled the appointment I had to change the time the day before and she was very helpful and flexible. more

I should have written this review about a year and a half ago when A Best came to my house on a holiday weekend and saved the day! Since then, this company has bent over backwards to meet my needs. This includes the excellent installation of a new unit at our home as well as a complete commercial system in a building we own. Besides being the absolute best price in town, A Best has the best service to match. They have responded to warranty calls, maintenance calls, and service calls quickly and professionally. From the owners, Kenny and Tammy, to Charlene in the office, and to the guys in the field, Cameron and Kenneth, this company is top notch. We had a very good experieince with this company. The trouble shoooting technicians arrived on time, and went out of their way to insure we received everything we needed prior to leaving. Oncethe extent of Reapir was determined, the Comfort specialist was well prepared to establish costs pertaing to the service required. They actually had a standard pricing schedule for the various systems available. Once we discussed options, we set up the delivery and installation of the equipment very quickly. When the installation team arrived, they were thorough and obviously well qualified to do their job. The work was done quickly and effeciently leaving no mess and they insured all our questions were answered. System works well, and I would be more than willing to recomend this company to anyone needing this type service. more

I needed immediate a/c service over the holiday and with all the different options, I chose A Best Air & Heat Inc. I called at 9a.m. and within 2 hours, there was a service technician at my front door. I explained the situation to the tech and he quickly identified the issue. Within 15 minutes, he had everything operating as it should. He was very polite and knowledgeable. Unlike some heat and air companies, he was honest. Some technicians just want to sell you a brand new system. A Best Air & Heat will be who I call in the future for my heat and air needs. more

The process of purchasing a new heating and air system, for me, is just as bad as having two or four wisdom teeth being pulled. NOT WITH A BEST AIR & HEAT. I like get to the point and your best offer, not the typical "let me see what I can do for you" sales pitch. These guys fit my style perfectly - and you know what, They delivered on all of their promises. I had professionals install my HVAC system, and clean-up the area, everything was explained to me and I am happy with the unit they installed. Good company!!! more
