Worst

Was told repairman would arrive between 8 and 12. I clearly told the person on the phone that I had to leave for work at 12:15. Repairman arrived at 12:07 pm. Not acceptable.

My dish washer was out of order from almost 3 months.I called many repair companies but they were unable to recognize the real problem,but Action Appliance Repair Service repaired it within one hour and now it is working properly. more

They replied to the phone calls immediately,the working staff of the company is very cooperative and they have the ability to tackle with the problems very easily.They get the work done on time.They easily find the exact problem with appliance and make it repair with less expense. more

Overall, I am very pleased with my service. There was a miscommunication between the dispatcher and the technician which resulted in an unnecessary wasted time, but I was not inconvenienced (the dispatcher said there was a problem with my oven, when in fact I needed a new set of burner caps for the stove, causing the technician to bring the wrong parts). Perhaps they are in too much of a rush to set appointments. But the technician arrived the next day, and a few days later, when the right parts came in, he was prompt and efficient. I will keep their number for my future needs. more

We were visiting our son and daughter-in-law (we are from NY), and they had a problem with their dryer. They just moved to Connecticut three months ago and did not know where to go. Action Appliance Service & Repair were there the very next business day. He diagnosed the problem quickly and let us know that it would be more expensive to repair the dryer than to purchase a new one. He saved us a lot of money, did it quickly and efficiently but most importantly, honestly. We will definitely be calling them if we should ever need any appliance service! more

I was very impressed with the honesty, swift work and professionalism of the young man who repaired my mother s air conditioner. We had been told by another service man on Thursday, that it was beyond repair and she would have to spend between $500 to $800 to get a new one. I was concerned he was not being truthful and that is why I sought out another person to come and look. Instead of hundreds of dollars, which my poor elderly mother could not afford, The man from Action quickly assessed the situation as simply a burned out motor. He replaced it and gave the system a regular maintenance. It is now running smoothly and quietly and my mother, who suffers from extreme hyper tension and a heart condition is resting comfortably in her humble house. I am telling all of my friends, co-workers and neighbors about A Action Appliance Repair. more

When I called after dinner last week, I got their answering service. My call was immediately transferred to Tom at Action Appliance Repair. I was not expecting to get my washing machine repaired the next day but, Tom stated he could come and repair my washing machine first thing in the morning. He arrived at 8:15am and was very professional. We had coffee and he gave me a good price to fix my washing machine which needed a new pump and he already had the part with him. He completed the repair and the total charges were justifiable and realistic. The washing machine has worked perfectly since the repair. Thank you for a great 5 star service experience.\r more

A Action Appliance Repair from the Connecticut branch was very helpful. Not only did Heidi from the office help us reschedule due to our family getting sick but she kept in touch through the entire process. The service repairman himself was very professional and even wore rubber gloves!!! He helped me weigh my options about fixing my dishwasher. He was pleasant, very nice to my son and quickly completed his work. It worked correctly before he left. I would gladly recommend this business over some small fly by nights any day . more

Our Whirlpool refrigerator stopped cooling on Thursday afternoon. I called Friday morning and Action scheduled to came out in two hours and was able to get it up and running again temporarily. He said he had to go the office during the weekend to get a part and he actually came back Monday by 9:30 am, installed the part and it has been cooling perfectly ever since. That was a couple of month ago! We are very pleased and grateful that we were able to get such good help so quickly! more
