I have ordered from this place several times for delivery and it was the favorite for the family. The lady that used to answer the phone every time no longer answers, so I am not sure if they changed ownership or anything... but the food is NOTHING like it used to be! Everything tasted like it was cooked together, and in really bad oil! I ordered for the family and got 1 fortune cookie... try splitting that between kids... overall, I used to like this place but when I called to ask the guy about the food, he wasn't concerned about loosing business. The food has been good tasting and hot consistently. I usually pick up the food because I live so close, and they have it ready in 10 minutes. I had it delivered once, and they said it would take 45 minutes but it only took 25 minutes. They substitute brown rice for a healthier option at $1 extra. Their crab angels (the ones with cream cheese) are delicious. My favorites are the Mongolian and Hunan beef. You can order smaller portions that are cheaper and are more than enough food for one person. Two large portions of food made two meals for my husband and me. Also, it is a family owned business. It's the best Chinese food that I've tasted in 85032. I've tried a couple of others along 32nd St and this is my favorite by far. They also have a menu online. You can call them and get the website. I have been order food from AA WOK since 2001, their food is one of the best in the area, the price is cheap also. the best thing is that they can make the foods with no MSG just for my family because we are allergic to it. I usally order for delivery, when they say it takes about 45 minutes, usually is about 35 minutes or even less, and i lived 5 miles from them. But just every now and then when I called for delivery, and they told me about 1 hour and 15 minutes because they are very busy, they are not lying, one time i had to change to pick up because it was too long, when i got there, their phone was ringing constantly. But one time when I had to order for delivery with 1 hour and 15 minutes of wait time, when i got the foods and opened it, it was still burning hot, just like right out of the wok couple seconds ago. I know one thing for sure, once they cooked the food, the driver will deliver ASAP, because I can tell when I ordered the house vegetables, it still looked fresh after i opened it, but if it stayed in the carton too long, it will change color. so yea, even though the wait time for delivery sometimes is bit long, but is worth the wait for their foods and their prices. Any kind of Asian delivery is hard to come by in our neck of the woods. We've been getting our delivery from AA Wok since 1996 and we've never had any problem. The food is consistently tasty, hot, and nicely priced. It's not gourmet, but it's the classic Chinese you remember. We love their veggie spring rolls and Ma Po and Family Bean Curd tofu dishes. We are vegetarian and they have always been accomodating of our special orders. The dining room is small and, yep, lacks in much atmosphere, but the food is tasty and PERFECT for an evening in. I have been ordering chinese food from AA wok for the last 2 years, with mostly take out. One thing I have to say, this is one of the chinese restaurant that has the best food in the area with ok price. i had tried other chinese restaurants in this area, nothing compared to this. AA wok does not have the best dinning atmosphere, but i do notice that they put up some silverwares and menus on the table after the new management back in nov of 06. The food is even better now, the sauce for orange chicken and lemon chicken, it is way better than before, and one of the chef's special i would recommened, beef chow fun (i think) is much better than the lo-mein. i don't order from aa wok every single week, but i do order from them every once in a while, even though the wait is a bit long when they are busy, but is worth the while, highly recommended! by the way, they made a new website which make my life so much easier when i lost the menu and don't know what to order. the website is aawok dot tripod dot com (it won't let me submit the whole address) Pros: Food more

My husband and I started ordering from AA Wok more than 10 years ago. Anything we've ever ordered from the menu has been a ""can't go wrong"" selection. I live too far from their delivery area now, but when I did have delivery, it was always prompt and the delivery people were always pleasant. When I go into the small restaurant, I wouldn't say I'm impressed with the decor or seating, but in this town, it's refreshing to see a no frills, mom and pop place. I do eat at PF Chang's and PeiWei for the quick fix, but AA Wok has always served us great tasting food in good portions, and we've always been able to rely on their consistency of preparing dishes the same way as we expect them. They've updated ther menu and offer a few of the trendier items that are offered at the Chinese chain restaurants. However, I must say I like AA Wok's versions better. The people that wait on us when we are there are always friendly and offer great service. Give it a try--you can't lose. more
