The best..for quality and price!! 11/24/2009

fast, fresh, and the quality of food is incredible..we 've been dine in this place about 1 year ...always good...always friendly, this is the best conveyor belt sushi restaurant around Seattle.highly recommended. Pros: fast,fresh.friendly... Cons: sometimes 2 hour limited parking little problem. more

Decent cheap plates 2/13/2009

I am a big fan of kaiten-zushi, or simply: conveyor belt sushi. The list of available plates wasn't huge. Unlike many of the other kaiten style sushi joints around the city where there are maybe 1-2 edible $1 plates, AA Sushi had a great selection of cheap (green) plates available. The vibe here was very mellow and it is kid friendly. There were bottled drinks for the kids available on the conveyor belt as well. The parking isn't too bad, but it filled up quickly. The hot house sake was strong and it nailed the spot instantly. There was only one type of dessert making rounds with the sushi: Cream puffs. They do offer mochi ice cream on the regular menu. Pros: Cheap vegitarian options, good sake, clean Cons: Spider roll not the best, parking could be a problem more

The McDonalds of sushi, awful food 10/5/2008

I took my wife there for her first sushi experience as it was all we could find open on a Sunday afternoon, but the food was awful. The rolls were too loose and large to pickup, and the flavor seemed off. To top it all off I got sick about half an hour later! I'm sure there are decent conveyor belt sushi places around but this isn't one of them. Pros: Fast food like service Cons: Rolls were super loose, flavors were ""off"", made me sick later in the day more

Great sushi, cute restaurant 5/12/2008

we just moved to this area and discovered the rotating sushi bar while exploring our dining options. The plates are reasonably priced (except for the mochi). The waiters are very polite and funny. Pros: good food, fast service, decent prices Cons: crappy parking more

Great Price...Great Taste.. 11/2/2007

I just moved to Kirkland , Last Sunday we just drove around and found this place...so this is first time for me to try the conveyort belt sushi, and so amazing with the highest price $ 3.00 each /plate and the starting price at $1.50 each/plate definetely amazing ,the Kirkland Roll is my favorite..even the spicy sauce little bit to hot for me, my wife love spider Roll..and my two boy's have a fun too...$ 48.00 for dinner 4 people..amazing isn't ? more

Great sushi,i love it.. 10/8/2007

I've been looking for the sushi in Kirkland for a long time,my friend tell me about this place .When first time i been there i 'm so suprise, because the sushi is so good...the nigiri size just perfect also fresh even the price is better...I think one of the the best kaiten sushi at east side,to make sure you get the good sushi try the sushi rice first. Pros: parking lots is easy.. Cons: friday night to crowded.. more

Terrible service and low quality sushi 9/26/2007

I went here the other night with my girlfriend. It was a bad experience from start to finish. First off, after we were seated nobody came by to ask what we wanted to drink or bring us water. We had to flag the waiter when asking about items not on the conveyor belt. The sushi was lukewarm. And the price really wasn't that great considering the quality of service and food. We left after snacking on 5 or 6 various small plates. Came to $60, without drinks of course. more

Sushiland wannabe 9/24/2007

I went to this place thinking the food quality would be similar to Sushiland (the original sushi place with conveyer belt). Wrong! It was just wrong! The sushi chef who is Chinese didn't even know how to slice the sashimi. The California roll didn't even taste good. How can you go wrong with California roll? He needs to get trained by a seasoned sushi chef if he wants to grow his business. If you want fresh sushi for bargain, go to one of the Sushilands (Seattle, Redmond, Bellevue) or Blue C Sushi in U-village. more

The Best of bargain Sushi in Kirkland! 8/6/2007

I've put my nose up to the Bargain sushi places for years. When it comes to raw fish you get what you pay for, and yes with Nigiri (two-cut or hand-formed sushi) that?s entirely true. but for simple rolls, and Tasty Fish treats, you can't go wrong with this convenient for of healthy fast food. I ate at AA Sushi for the first time Sunday evening, and believe me I can eat, but for 25-30 dollars me and my petite girlfriend got our share, and left rather full. we had both agreed that the quality may have not been the freshest, but then again we didn't pay 60-80 dollars for a sushi dinner, like we would have at Red-Fin (Seattle) or Sea Star raw bar (Bellevue) but for a sushi beginner or for a family with kids, its for sure a great place to start developing your Pallet! if you want the absolute freshest taste of fish, head North to Tokyo House in Arlington, Jae Kim owner/head chef, has done that little red neck town right. Tell him Jordan Sent you and prepare yourself for an excitment of flavor more

A great sushi place 9/23/2006

it is really a cool place to have sushi! you don't have to order anything and it is running right by you and it tested just like the sushi bar thing. It offers a great value tho. I love it. Pros: Price, value, food quality and decoration Cons: a little hard to find for the first time more

Decent sushi, especially for the price 9/22/2006

I have to admit this is only the second sushi place I've ever been to, so that kind of handicaps my ability to rate the sushi. The first was Blue C Sushi in U Village. So I can only fairly compare this restaurant to Blue C (which is another conveyor belt place). Pros: Good prices, good food, love the conveyor belt Cons: Not very inventive, except for the chef's special more
