I read the reviews below claiming this place was a puppy mill and decided to do some research on my own. This is what i found out. This IS a family owned business. They have been in business for what i can tell at least 35 years and It started in Dover PA. It was started by the father, and an Uncle. Now all the children from both are involved, some have kennels, some have store fronts, some have both. So YES, they are all related. No one is Amish either. All are Mennonite. I'm not sure if the racist below is aware but Amish and Mennonite aren't the same thing. And there are different degrees of being a Mennonite. Lets really do our research before we slander people! I also checked for violations, i can't find anything, one of the children apparently shares a name with an amish breeder which almost threw me off but, i noticed the address was different.. I am a professional K9 trainer by trade and know that puppys don't just start biting for no reason after 2 days. I can't count the number of times i've heard this complaint over the years and once i get to the clients house the children are unsupervised and terrorizing the already scared puppy. The problem is that we use the term puppy mill and don't really know what that means. The fanitics make it out to sound like uncontrolled and horrible conditions, but any commercial kennel is considered a puppy mill. This means any experienced kennel that breeds for profit. I know another word for that.. PROFESSIONAL. I found that all commercial kennels that are licensed are subject to numerous state, federal, and local inspections. While your hobby breeder is not. I also, found out that the required conditions are so strict that the SPCA has filed for an exemption, because they can't afford to keep their facilities that clean, and up to date. Interesting indeed. I don't know about you, but I'd rather buy from somewhere that big brother is watching. These animal activists are all the same, i would bet you, the person below, didn't even get a puppy from these people. It's probably all a smear campaign. They go after dog breeders, horse breeders, dairy, chicken, and pig farmers too. I'm also an avid hunter, and we are next.
Pros: Awesome, Family Owned for 40 years
