Awesome pizza! 10/25/2006

I don't like thin crust pizza. But I LOVE Pagliai's! On a somewhat regular basis we get ourselves a large Palace Special. We rarely have any left for breakfast the next morning. They have their ovens and the pizza makers in the front of the store where passers-by can watch them creating these thin masterpieces. Do your taste buds a favor and stop in at Pagliai's the next time you are in town. more

Pagliai's, What is it 10/6/2006

Anyone who eats pizza knows about Pagliai's. In Iowa City that means stopping in at 302 East Bloomington St and ordering your favorite. They have been open at that location for 43 years and people keep going back once they have eaten there. It is an easy spot for the college crowd or anyone else to get to. There is a parking lot right across the street. You will find Paglia's open from 4 PM to midnight Mon. thru Sat. and 4 PM to 11 PM on Sundays. Pagliai's offers a choice of 27 different pizza's and all made from that old family recipe. Then also have a great children's menu. You can dine-in, carry out or get free delivery. In addition to the Iowa City pizzaria, they have Pagliai's in Johnston and Beaverdale in the Des Moines area and in Grinnell, all in Iowa. Pagliai's is a pizza experience you won't want to miss. more
