Avoid this place or your pocket book will be greatly affected! They are very good at convincing one the quality of their product which reflects their high cost of two times the charge of other auto repair in the area! Give me a break! Our family was a loyal customer...NO MORE!! Total rip off! more

Very reasonable 4/18/2011

Chris took care of my Mazda until I got rid of it. He was always reasonable and fair. He knows his stuff. Like the others say, he is always busy (a good sign of a gifted mechanic) but gets my car done timely. more

I would never go back! 4/1/2011

No star review period. Nice guys in the shop, but that does not get the vehicle fixed. First they offered me a car rental that was as stated by Chapman Car Care to be complementary and included in their repair quote for 1700.00. They never paid the car rental company, and the car rental company billed me. It was like pulling healthy teeth to get Chapman Care Care to pay me back. Secondly they did not have the have the truck ready when they stated it would be ready. Thirdly the job was not a quality install. Several bolts missing, IMRC control rod for the left bank of the intake manifold was left off, coolant leaks everywhere, sticking throttle due to parts left off, causing the housing to hang up on the throttle body. I told these guys I know how to work on my truck myself. I can tell if a monkey was turning the wrench. Boy I really wish I would of taken the time to work on my truck myself. Lesson learned from this. No more monkeys! I wouldn't trust this shop to fill my gas tank. They would probably forget to put the gas cap back on! more

I was more than pleased 3/30/2011

In the three years I've had my car I've been to Chapman Car Care three times and am more than pleased! They try to do their best for their customers. Customer service A+!!! They are always available to talk and explain everything in a way that's understandable to those who don't much about cars. They worked with my insurance claims twice and I didn't have to do a thing! I'd HIGHLY suggest Chapman Car Care and have told everyone who lives in the area. more

The best auto repair shop 3/29/2011

This is by far the best auto repair shop I have ever been to in Orange. Unfortunately I have had to take my car there several times, nevertheless they handled everything with professionalism and excellent attention to detail. The last two times I have taken my car there they have found additional damages from the impact that the insurance company failed to identify. They are really honest, and are truly looking out for you and the quality repair of your vehicle. If you are in need of auto repair save time and money by going to Chapman Car Care. more

Chapman Car Care was recommended to me by my brother-in-law, and I couldn't be happier. I will be bringing my car here for all repairs and general maintenance, for sure. The people are friendly, helpful, and don't talk down to me (like so many car places do). A+ service. more

Just incredibly sweet and patient 2/22/2011

I can't say enough great things about Chapman Car Care. They literally spent hours with me today helping me resolve an issue with my license plates that they did not even charge me for. They were just incredibly sweet and patient and honest and just wonderful in every way. I will never bring my car anywhere else for repairs or inspection. I love Chapman Car Care and I know that you will as well! more

good service, bad work 12/30/2010

Worst shop i have been to so far. the service is great ! but who care on the service when the work they do on your is totally unsafe! pay them for a tire rotation and the did not tighten a wheel, lost a lug nut, the wheel keep making noise from being loose, good thing i figure out. overinflated the tires for no reason. the timing belt was making noise, pay them $25 for the mechanic to say "" o yeah the timing belt is making noise"" wow tell me something i dont know. ( but that was the dianostics) they promise a car wash with it. when i arrived, no car wash was done. pay them another 37 to tighen my sepertine belts. this work can usually be done in a few hour at the most. i drop the car at 9am and it was not ready till 5 pm. go ahead go the this shop, risk your monay and your safety. i wont. i will be going some where else. more

Clean but pricey 3/4/2010

So I took my car there because I had no choice. I was immidiatly greeted with a smile and a great attitude, they were really trying hard to help me out. The guy gave me a drink while I waited in their very nice waiting room. Its probably the best waiting room short of a dealership. So the guy tells me that he will get me a free car rental while its being fixed and a free car wash. So now I think this is my new auto shop. Then he hands me a bill for $60 just for looking at the car! I have never been charged for that in my life. Then he tells me that its going to cost almost twice as much to repair. I found out that its because they charge $115 an hour for labor. Most shops will chard 80-90. They are not much cheaper than the dealers. At the end of the day the owner is very nice and they go out of their way to help you but it all comes out of your pocket. For women who want to a place thats like the dealers but not as much then this is the place. I'd rather take it to a run down shop but know that they will do a good job and won't rip me off. This place just gave me the wrong vibe. Pros: Very Clean and Great Service Cons: Very Expensive and Pushy more

i had a very good experience at this car repair place 1/17/2009

they treated me very well. I got a loaner vehicle and a free car wash with my service. I needed a new radiator. They figured out the problem within the first 5 minutes and i was in my loaner in 15 minutes. Pros: good warranty, free loaner, car wash, no uncomfortable feeling, fun employees Cons: not near my work in l.a. more
