Best

I have been to 8 Rivers over a dozen times and tried nearly everything on the menu. I can honestly say that I have not had a bad meal there - EVER! The staff is great, and if yo...

In the last month, we tried this place on two occasions in order for the entire family to have an opportunity to taste 8 Rivers version of Jamaican dishes. For approximately 20 y...

Hot! Hot! Hot! 2/23/2007

It is about time that time Denver has something to offer other than Italian or Mexican!!! The food is so good, and is only made better with a cold Red Stripe and cool Reggae! I have never been to the islands, but if this is what the food is like - sign me up. Pros: great food, cold Red Stripe and cool Reggae more

Superb Quality and Amazing Presentation is part of the charm to this Colorado Gem 2/23/2007

A Colorado Gem, 8 Rivers is truly one of the hidden treasures of Denver. The food has always been amazing but on top of the superb quality and amazing presentation is the service. Always with a smile and helpful recommendation, the staff is grade A! 8 Rivers has become my first date place because of its romantic and intimate seating. I cannot recommend this venue any higher. Pros: Food, Service, Romantic Cons: Parking can be rough sometimes more

Really Cool Place!!! 2/22/2007

This is the best ""j e r k"" chicken (the program will not let me use the correct spelling for the word J E R K) I have ever had. It is more than worth the drive from Boulder!!! They also make a ""dirty"" Mojito (never heard of it until I ate there) it is made with dark carribean rum - I love it! Pros: Great food, Great Dirty Mojitos, Great Reggae Cons: Does get crowded on the weekends more

Excellent 1/20/2007

Everything I've had there has been great. The flavors are right on. I will be back, and fortunately, I live within walking distance. more

Always excellent food and service 1/20/2007

My husband and I have been to 8 Rivers at least five times. Every time, the food has been delicious. Their Carribean spice blend is perhaps the best I've ever tasted - I recommend anything ""jirk."" (citysearch software would not let me spell jirk with an ""e"", as it detected it as an ""inappropriate word"", so just replace the ""i"" with an ""e"" in your own minds). Their dirty mojitos are also really yummy. Their sangria is really sweet, not my favorite, but my friends liked it. My mouth is watering just thinking about this place... more
