7-11 has been around for so long now. I think it really deserves a name change now that it is more like a 24-7 sort of a place, rather than a place that is open from 7a.m to 11p.m...

7-11 has been around for so long now. I think it really deserves a name change now that it is more like a 24-7 sort of a place, rather than a place that is open from 7a.m to 11p.m. This store is like your typical convenience stop, filled with newspapers, maganizes, dairy products, snacks, etc. I, too, am a big fan of the slurpees here. The classic cherry slurpee is a must have for me as soon as the weather starts to get warm. Just be careful how fast you sip that thing because you can get a case of major brain freeze if you sip too fast! more

Great Stop 3/10/2006

Seven Eleven brings back lots of childhood memories for me. Slurpess and candy especially were my favorite things to come here for. To this day, I stop in here for their great slurpees (give the coca cola one a try!). It is cheap and quick and in the summer, when its hot and humid, it is so super refreshing. Also a good stop in the morning because you can pick up a newspaper, some breakfast, or even some coffee. more

Slurpees Anyone 3/10/2006

How can you go wrong at Seven Eleven? The most convenient place in Lakeview. You might not want to get into a conversation with the people who work here. I have had bad experiences with customer service at this place. They aren't the most friendly of people, but when it is three in the morning you will be glad that you live nearby. Stay away from any type of food unless it comes in a wrapper and was made somewhere else. I have this last knowledge on good authority. more
