I would not recommend anyone use 72 Degrees Heating and Air and a perfect example is the Review from Robert L. The reason that he had such a hard time with any follow up work is because they have a 100% turn over rate in employment. The reason for this is because Eddie Blanchard does not pay his employees. Feel free to check with the complaints at The Department of Labor. Many employees just give up on the money and go elsewhere. I would ask that everyone use a legitimate company that pays their employees for work completed and that is not Eddie Blanchard at 72 Degrees Heating and Air. \r Robert L. I agree with TK. We had David, a salesman for 72 degrees, come to give a quote and he was extremely high pressure sales. He kept ""slashing"" the price and also recommended other modifications to the duct work that absolutely could not be done once the technicians came. We were misrepresented to and went with them based on the promise of work. Owner ended up refunding some money, but still feel like we way over paid for the system. Just wanted to leave my honest feeling/review. more

72 Degrees touts their customer service but isn't honesty part of their definition of good customer service? The sales pressure was obvious, but we thought we were getting a good deal. David, the pushy, high-pitch salesman, dropped the price 3 times and told us he was offering the low price because they had installation guys who had no work to do the next morning and that essentially they would be paid for doing nothing. We bought the story. Out of curiosity we called two companies the next day to attain a quote for the identical model. Both companies quoted significantly less, one was for $1200 less; another for $600 less. (We paid $5100 cash for an Amana APG13M) We already had a written commitment with 72 Degrees. David of 72 Degrees used deception and dishonesty to persuade us to ""buy in"" to his offer. Don't believe their guarantees that they tout either. ""Apples to apples"" includes their written guarantees. If you look at their guarantees closely, it is really a bunch of hype over nothing. Who wouldn't expect that their new system to not break down the first year or to have the system installed when promised? We discussed our concern with the owner and he offered no customer satisfaction, stating that we had been given a good price and that he prayed about his business before starting it up. You would think that customer satisfaction should be considered. Perhaps others are so satisfied with the company because they don't get other quotes but base their decision on reviews online from others who haven't checked out the competition. more

i had called regarding a twongo deal to see if they serviced a high efficiency unit, all in one. i expected a call back that day, but did not get one, the deal was over when they called me back. they had no idea what a high efficiency unit was. i gave then the name of the unit, etc. and still did not know. most businesses of this type do work on these types of units. these units are in high end houses, most of the time. when i got the returned call, i was told only 1 person knew abt this type of unit.. knowing this, made me leary of someone working on this unit, when only one person said they knew abt it. sorry to say, i was not happy, i was impressed with the reviews that i had read regarding this company. more

He even took the time to explain what he was doing and why. On top of that he gave me helpful tip on how to set my thermostat to be more energy efficient. Plus someone from the company always follows up with a call to make sure I???m satisfied with my service. This company really cares about their customers. I???m really impressed with the company and their employees. more

I've had service with this company for 3+ years now and will definitely continue to do so!!! Their services are comparitively inexpensive, especially for the level of service that you are afforded. All of their technicians are very knowleable, professional, and extremely courteous. They are not at your home to ""get in and get out"" like most companies. They take their time, check everything, and are extremely thorough. Every time I have had a problem with my heating and air, there was someone in my driveway ASAP. I would highly recommend!!! 72 Degrees Heating and Air turned out to be such a wonderful surprise. I was so close to going with another company who had a good reputation, but decided it was important to get three quotes. The experience with 72 Degrees really surpassed my expectations. I worked in customer service for years and these guys top the cake! Everyone from the receptionist to the managers, to the installers were all exceptionally professional. They arrived when they said they would, did what they said they would do, beat my best price but for that price gave me a much better system, not only brand name but efficiency rating as well, plus a much better warranty. On the back of their quote is printed all of their warranties and guarantees, far surpassing any the others had offered. Some had offered none and certainly didn't have the warranties pre-printed on the back of their quote sheets. I was recently laid off, so paying for a new furnace certainly was not on my list of things I wanted to be doing. Their sales manager gave me a discount because of my situation, increased my warranty, offered a 4 year, 0% interest payment plan, offered many money saving options that the other companies had not offered, he took the time to answer all of my questions, did not try to pressure sell me, the workmen arrived early the next morning, wore booties inside the house so as not to dirty the carpet, were exceedingly polite and professional, worked from 9am to almost 10pm, and back at it again the next day. They even guarantee to pay you $500 if they do not get you heat the same day and also $500 if they do not show up when they say they will, plus give you 2 years to be completely satisfied with your unit or they will deinstall it and give you all of your money back, plus several additional long term warranties. They made sure my house and circuit breaker, gas and electrical wiring were all brought up to code, put in a new programmable thermostat and carbon monoxide detector, guaranteed me savings of 35% the first year, cleaned all of my duct work, cleaned up every bit of debris, knocked each time before entering the house, ended with a five page checklist showing me all of the work they had done, filed the warranty paperwork on my behalf and sent me copies, gave me a letter from the CEO of the company with his cell phone so I could call him anytime if I was not satisfied, called a few days later to make sure I was completely satisfied and then called again today to set up the city code inspection. Most of my career I worked for a large corporation who was known for customer service. I can honestly say, it's been a LONG TIME since I've seen customer service like this. I was completely impressed and would recommend them to anyone I know. - Dana more

Cool and comfortable 8/30/2010

I have been a service contract customer with 72 Degrees for 2 years and have been very pleased with the service. I just had my annual tune-up. The service call was scheduled at my convenience and the tech showed up right on time. I'm not a heating and ac guy but I do believe the tech was very thorough. He gave me a check list of services performed along with important levels of how the system was functioning. Fortunately I have not had to have any service performed. 72Degrees have kept it running smooth so I'm very happy. more
