72 Degrees Heating and Air turned out to be such a wonderful surprise. I was so close to going with another company who had a good reputation, but decided it was important to get three quotes. The experience with 72 Degrees really surpassed my expectations. I worked in customer service for years and these guys top the cake! Everyone from the receptionist to the managers, to the installers were all exceptionally professional. They arrived when they said they would, did what they said they would do, beat my best price but for that price gave me a much better system, not only brand name but efficiency rating as well, plus a much better warranty. On the back of their quote is printed all of their warranties and guarantees, far surpassing any the others had offered. Some had offered none and certainly didn't have the warranties pre-printed on the back of their quote sheets. I was recently laid off, so paying for a new furnace certainly was not on my list of things I wanted to be doing. Their sales manager gave me a discount because of my situation, increased my warranty, offered a 4 year, 0% interest payment plan, offered many money saving options that the other companies had not offered, he took the time to answer all of my questions, did not try to pressure sell me, the workmen arrived early the next morning, wore booties inside the house so as not to dirty the carpet, were exceedingly polite and professional, worked from 9am to almost 10pm, and back at it again the next day. They even guarantee to pay you $500 if they do not get you heat the same day and also $500 if they do not show up when they say they will, plus give you 2 years to be completely satisfied with your unit or they will deinstall it and give you all of your money back, plus several additional long term warranties. They made sure my house and circuit breaker, gas and electrical wiring were all brought up to code, put in a new programmable thermostat and carbon monoxide detector, guaranteed me savings of 35% the first year, cleaned all of my duct work, cleaned up every bit of debris, knocked each time before entering the house, ended with a five page checklist showing me all of the work they had done, filed the warranty paperwork on my behalf and sent me copies, gave me a letter from the CEO of the company with his cell phone so I could call him anytime if I was not satisfied, called a few days later to make sure I was completely satisfied and then called again today to set up the city code inspection. Most of my career I worked for a large corporation who was known for customer service. I can honestly say, it's been a LONG TIME since I've seen customer service like this. I was completely impressed and would recommend them to anyone I know.
