Great Service 6/3/2010

We've been using 55 Auto for a good while now and have always found them to be fairly priced and honest. With other shops, I usually remove all personal items from my vehicle when I take it in for service but I trust 55 Auto so much that I don't feel the need to that. I took my vehicle in today for an oil change and even though they seemed to be busy, it was ready very quickly. Pros: fair price, honest mechanics more

Excellent service! 4/9/2009

I have been a satisfied customer of 55 Automotive for several years. Mr. White has a great business with fair pricing. He has never ""steered"" me wrong with my Camry. I will continue to drive to Apex for auto maintenance as long as he is in business. Pros: Fair prices, knowledgable staff Cons: Not close to my house, but I'll drive for their service! more

Honest and Experienced Mechanic 8/30/2008

I have been a customer of 55 Automotive since the year Stuart White opened his shop and have always been impressed with his customer service and ability to diagnose and repair my car. He is extremely knowledgeable and does not try to do unnecessary work. My husband and I have been so relieved to find a mechanic who is so skilled and trustworthy that we have referred him to many of our friends and family. Everyone has thanked us for the referral and has had the same pleasant experience with Stuart and his shop. I don?t understand why people continue to go the big dealerships when 55 Automotive is an option. more

For 4 years -very trustworthy AND saved me MONEY multiple times 5/15/2008

This owner (Stuart White) is very honest, and will always tell us when we do NOT absolutely have to do something right this moment. We have had several cars worked on there for 4 years. more

At the very best they are careless and their diagnostics not reliable...(read on) 10/8/2007

I took my car for a window work. I was thinking it needed to replace the motor. They say no, they had my car for a day and told me that everything was fine (after charging me more than $100) I drove my car out and did not work. I called to complain, and they did not care. Very friendly indeed, until they take your money. more

Really Bad Service 8/27/2007

I took my car in for routine maintenance to get the radiator flushed. When I picked up my car the water pump was broken. I felt like they saw me as a single woman who wouldn't know the difference and would go ahead and get the larger repair. I'm no expert but if the water pump was working fine before going in there, they must have done something to break it. The descent thing to do would have been to fix the part and not charge me labor. Instead when I picked my car up they totally ignored me, turned their backs on me like I wasn't even there. They didn't even try to work with me. more

Exceptional Service!!! 5/30/2006

Stuart & his staff were so friendly and helpful. They diagnosed my problem and fixed it quickly and inexpensively. The waiting room was clean & comfortable. It is within walking distance of several shops & restaurants in dowtown Apex. I highly recommend 55 Automotive to anyone! Pros: Knowledgeable, Friendly, Fast more
