Do your dog a favor and take it here. 3/6/2010

We have an adopted Great Pyrenees. She was starting to take over our house and we looked around for a dog trainer. The stuff on TV makes it look so easy, but that could not be further from the truth. We found Darren at 5 star resort and started in the weekly training program. We both bring our dog in and have a session. We both have to be there just like family counseling . Then we have homework to do for the next week. This has worked great. No rough stuff. Firm but loving instruction for the dog. We are back in charge at home and our dog is much happier. Unlike most people who like dogs and put out a sign that says trainer, this guy is the real deal. We are very pleased with the price, experience and results. Pros: Having a trainer who knows what he is doing. Cons: limited hours for early morning drop off more

The Only Place We'll Go 3/6/2010

The staff are friendly and welcoming and seem to truly love animals. I have had both of my dogs stay there for short and long periods, and they seem to love it! The grooming is outstanding and affordable, too! Pros: Clean facility, friendly staff, great activites for dogs Cons: Nothing! more

The Best ever Kennel you can find in the State of Georgia 3/5/2010

Darren and his staff are the most friendly and helpful to work with. Our dog Abby thinks every time we take her to five star resort she acts like she is in paradise. Abby gets so excited when she sees Darren that I know when I leave her there she is going to get excellent care. I also know she is safe and when I pick her up she seems happier than when I dropped her off. I highly recommend Five Star Resort. I have had pets my entire life. This is the first team that all show the care and love for my pets as I do. Compliments and smiles come from all the team members every time I've asked for there help. Great Place to Get Your Dog Groomed 3/1/2010

I was able to bring my Yellow Lab O'Reilly in for a great washing and get his nails groomed. They did a great job in getting him in and out with a minimum wait. Just call and get a time and get it done. You are out in no time with your dog. Have not tried it yet, but it looks like a great place to leave your dog for a wknd trip. The Best Dog Resort in North Atlanta!!!! 2/28/2010

I was searching for a ten dog resort and found it at Five Star. The owner and staff are great! I would not board my dog anywhere else. Not only do they take excellent care of my husky, Samson, but they love him. Grooming is excellent at Five Star. Samson has an undercoat that must be brushed out to prevent shedding and Five Star does an excellent job. Best Kennel Ever!!! 2/28/2010

This is the first, and only, kennel that our dog actually enjoys going to. The staff is friendly and helpful...they even emailed us a picture of our dog during a recent stay so our daughter could see how much fun the dog was having on her ""vacation"". Highly recommend this facility! more

GREAT home away from home for your pet !! 2/22/2010

Darren and his crew are true dog lovers. They greet each pet by name along with a pat and a hug, making them feel welcome. My dog would rather be with me, but when I travel, he gets the attention and care to make his stay comfortable and stress free.\r He gets to have his blanket and toys with him. Those items are returned washed and ready when I pick up my pet. His medication is administered at no additional cost. This is a homey , clean ,comfortable space for your dog when he can't be with you. I highly reccommend it. Pros: Trained and caring personel welcome your dog. more

The Best Boarding, Training, and Grooming Available! 2/22/2010

I would never leave my pups anywhere else. Daren and staff trained Wendall, my Maltipoo and he will training my newest addition Bella, a rescue Bichon. They love these dogs as much as I do and take great care of them. Their Groomer is amazing! The facility is amazing! The Staff is truly amazing. The dogs and I feel like part of the 5 Star family! Your dog will LOVE his/her new grooming 2/19/2010

Kristina is Jackson's BEST groomer in his 9 short years--and he's had a few. She is so great with my frisky Shih Tzu. Jackson loves her. And dogs are no stranger to her--she loves them. She has three of her own. Jackson actually gets excited now when I ask him if he's ready to go get a haircut. From his very first cut with her, he's looked like a new dog. I've recommended her to four of my neighbors on our doggie walks, when they've asked me where I get his grooming. He looks great, and you will love her too! If you are looking for a home away from home for your pet, I highly recommend the team at Five Star. They place is one of cleanest with systems in place to insure a safe place for your dog. The staff are really caring about their guests and go above and beyond in spending time with the pets. Glad we found them thru a friend! Pros: Top notch facility more

Christina is truly one of the best groomers we have ever had. We have had both our goldens in with her several times and always are pleased with the work. incredible grooming, boarding, and doggy daycare 2/18/2010

Christina is an excellent groomer-my dog loves her and he always looks great when he leaves. He also loves the boarding kennel-roomy, clean, and we always book the ""in and out"" room, so he can go where he wants Amazingly, every time we go in the lobby, he gets excited to be there. never had that at a grooming place or boarding place before. that's says alot. Pros: great facility and services-my dog loves it there! Cons: word's getting out, so i have to call ahead for appts. more

We LOVE this place! 2/18/2010

We have 3 large dogs and Daren and his staff have always taken excellent care of us. Over the last year they've grommed them all (no small task with a furry Great Pyrenees) taking special care of the special needs of both a puppy to the old dogs. It's great to have them be so happy for their puppy ""spa"" days. We're now doing training (more for me than the dog!) and from the first lesson knew we had found the right trainer. Everyone at Five Star is helpful and friendly. We appreciate all they do to take care of not only our pets needs, but ours as well.\r \r Michelle Pros: Best all around pet resort around! This facility is a combination of all of those. With future plans to expand our facility to include more experiences for your pet, we are and always will be the best facility for your pet. We have a 3 acre facility in the Roswell/Alpharetta/Milton area that was built and designed by our staff. Our staff, having over 30 years of experience, designed the site to be in accordance of what they always wanted in a dog boarding and training facility.
