I would HIGHLY suggest you NOT bring your animals here! For ANY reason at all!!! \r
I took my two dogs (Golden Retriever & Yorkie) to this place to have them groomed and boarded for approx 5 days while my wedding was going on. I was unsure of the exact date I would be back and the staff told me it wasn’t a problem, that we could adjust the dates. I paid for 5 days there. I came back one day early, & the staff refused to give me my unused money back. They simply said they would credit my account and I could use it next time. I live so far away, I knew I wouldn’t be using it, and after this experience? I KNEW I would NEVER be back!\r
MY EXPERIENCE:\r
First off, the staff lost my dogs toys, and broke my expensive dog bowls. Instead of telling me, they just gave me an empty suitcase. I happened to open up and question them about it and they scrambled for an explanation. \r
When my dogs came out, my golden’s nose was covered in blood! I asked them what happened and they had NO idea what happened to my dogs nose. I looked closely at it and his poor nose was all busted up & bleeding.\r
Then I get them home, only to find that they are COMPLETELY infested with tics!! Tics I have never even seen before. My dogs are protected from fleas and tics. But this building was so infested with them, even my dogs didn’t have a chance. I took them to the vet, and numerous tic dips & still to this day battling getting rid of these tics. I had to have my condo sprayed for tics, and I had to shave ALL of my dogs hair to try to get rid of them. The vet found 3 different kinds of tics on them, 2 common animal tics and another tic called a “bird tic” that looked like raisins. My dogs have NEVER had a tic in their lives until I boarded them at this place. \r
This happened in Sept 2012 and is still going on today in Dec 2012. I am currently looking into laws and such to have this place SHUT DOWN. I highly recommend you NEVER bring your animals here. Not if you care about them and their safety and well being. This place is HORRID!!\r
