Attitude, and lot's of it. Just hand them the money and be grateful that they let you near the place. Arrogant does not begin to describe it. If you have to have the propeller logo, go for it. However, there are lots of manufacturers out there. Try Ducati-- the local dealers are much more down to earth. more

THE WORST BMW SHOP IN THE WORLD 4/13/2011

Story is a long one: I bought a 2nd hand K1200S off them two years ago on a spur of the moment deal.. ie i walked in the shop and bought the bike within 4 mins from them, paid cash and took delivery the following morning. 5 days later the clutch and gearbox failed completely, i was home by then in Jacksonville.. they were TOTALLY unresponsive, basically I had bought the bike as is as was and they were not interested.. I was livid... i put the bike in the truck bed and drove to lauderdale 360 miles and confronted them the following morning when the shop opened. the Owner , Fred, is a pussy and fell to pieces when confronted and in the end said he would take the bike back when threats of sueing them were put in front of him. All i wanted was the bike fixed but in the end I did a deal with him to Part ex the bike against a new K1200s that they had in stock. Apparantly there had been a recall on the clutch and he said the new bike had all the mods done. Sounds great doesn't it, in fact it wasn't a bad deal as his accounts department are so incompetent that they ended up giving me almost 1200 bucks worth of extras for nothing. ( they also ended up sending us the title for the old bike back !) However, he knew I was going to take the bike off around the globe touring and said that all the recalls had been done. Last Summer my wife and i did 5000 miles in 6 weeks around Europe on the bike and guess what.. the clutch started making all sorts of funny noises again. I took the bike into a dealer in the UK.. This is where it gets interesting. The clutch update had NOT been done, which now means I have a potential clutch replacement ahead of me, the cam chain tension er mod had NOT been done, The rear torsion bar arm mod had NOT been done and the best one of all is that the bike was sold to me as a 2008 and when the UK check the VIN it shows as a 2007 bike !!!! I happened to be in Lauderdale today and went to call the shop tonight to get the price of some hard bags. It was 4 45 when i called.. guess what, no answer on the phone to start and then they answered it the second time and said nothing but just laid the phone down.. all i could hear was them talking, laughing and messing around in the back ground.. what a bunch of losers.. How can BMW associate such a great product as they have with this sort of incompetence. more

Agreed- Avoid 9/17/2010

BMW makes nice motorcycles, but dealing with these guys makes buying and owning one not worth the hassle. The service department is very difficult to work with. Customer-centric does not describe these guys. more

AVOID THEM. RUDE, GREEDY, INCOMPETANT, SERVICE. 7/14/2008

BEWARE!!! This is a bunch of crooks. Lousy customer service and full of lies and deceit. I bought a bmw K1200lt, from an old man in florida. I had it shipped to California. After close examination of the bike, i noticed the intercom lid didn't fit right. I noticed also, it was a different color gray. Much lighter. I checked the rest of the bike and saw the same with the right mirror housing. I contacted the shop and inquired. They acknowledged they ordered the wrong part. They ordered '05' s lighter gray, instead of '06, darker gray(which was 6 months ago) They failed to check under the seat to match the color code. Then, they blamed the owner for ordering that color. (Sure he did). Then they claimed that the old owner, accepted the parts like they were. (which isn't that noticable at first) Then they admitted to ordering the wrong item number. They first refused to do anything to correct their incompetence. After I contacted BMW Customer Service, they agreed to replace the lid if i brought them the bike. (Knowing i'm in Calif and their if Florida.) Then the Service rep refused to let me speak to the owner, saying he would say the same thing, in their refusal. I fianlly spoke with the owner who was coaxed simultaneously as we were on the phone. He finally agreed to have me send him the lid and he'd replace it. Then changed his mind and refused the next day. So i wrote BMW legal department, and they told 441 Cycle Shop, that they Must accept the part for warranty exchange, for the right part. Unsure if they have to eat the cost or not. Nonetheless, they sure were rude and snooty, and not service oriented. This incompetance and refusal to correct their errors, is unacceptable! SHAME ON 441 CYCLE SHOP!!! Cons: RUDE, INCOMPETENT, REFUSE TO CORRECT THEIR ERRORS, FULL OF LIES more
