391st Bomb Group

I was first introduced to 391st Bomb Group several years ago; my fiancé (then boyfriend), his sister and I went there for the early bird special -- if you order before 6pm (maybe even 6:30pm, I can't remember anymore) you get a soup or salad, entrée, dessert (choice of key lime pie or cheesecake) and coffee or tea for only about $12). The early bird menu is pretty limited but for what it is, you can't beat the price. The best part I like about this restaurant is the view. The bay windows face the runway to the executive/private airport nearby. When you go in the winter time and it gets dark sooner you can enjoy the blue runway lights light up. Every once in awhile you'll even see a plane take off or land. When I was there once we saw Trump's private jet taxiing. In addition to the regular menu (you can order a la carte), they also have a Sunday Brunch and a full bar but I wouldn't know how they are; I really enjoy watching the planes (if there are any) so I try to take advantage of the Early Bird when I go to this restaurant. more

This restaurant sits on the outskirts of PBIA and on the runway of WPB's executive airport. It has a good early bird dinner menu that includes your choice of key lime pie or cheescake with coffee or tea. This is a romantic little restaurant with a great view; I was there once and saw Trump's privet jet taxi and take off. I recommend going in the winter and asking for a table near a window so you can see the blue runway lights light up as the sun goes down. Downside is that the menu is not very large, but if you take advantage of the early bird, a full meal is only $12 pre-tax per person--you can't argue with that. more
