The best Chinese food in Chapel hill! 4/3/2006

Chinese 35 has the best Chinese food in Chapel Hill, hands down. Their buffet is huge, with a ton of vegetarian options. The sit-in buffet can be a little pricey, but you can get take-out buffet for really cheap. The service is also very friendly and hospitable. Be sure to try the spring rolls, they're amazing! more

Hidden Gem 9/1/2005

35 Chinese is sort of hidden on Franklin Street, but once you find it, you will not forget it! They have a huge buffet, which includes your traditional Chinese assortment, as well as dessert. It's a great place for a family, and they can accomodate larger groups. It does get a little crowded, so I'd go for an early dinner to avoid the crowd. The food on the buffet is always fresh and hot and is replaced frequently. more

35Chinese Restaurant is a buffet restaurant on West Franklin street in Chapel Hill. Cost: $5.95 for lunch, and $8.95 for dinner weekdays. There are about 50 tables there, and can accommodate about 150 ppl at one time. The food there is great. a wide variety of food to choose from, hot dishes including various flavored chicken, shrimp, beef, pork, fried noodles and even french fries. Also a lot of cakes, fruits, and candies. It's one of my favorite places to dine in Chapel Hill. more

Stay away from this Chinese 8/12/2005

It continues to amaze me that 35 Chinese is still in business. The location and quantity are the only things that this place has going for it. There is a huge buffet with everything from Chinese food to french fries to soft-serve ice cream. The food is greasy and has been sitting out for awhile. There are so many other options for Chinese food in this area, don't resort to going to 35 Chinese! more
