When I called this place they were able to send someone out fairly quickly. Once he arrived he took a few minutes to figure out what the problem was with my heater and had it up and running 10 minutes later. They are obviously very experienced and they have done a great job as the heat still works great. more

The owners of the house I am renting had the AC fixed by this company and they did a great job. Although I do not know what the cost was, I can tell you it was well worth it. The man that came to my home was very professional and had the job complete within a hour. Great job! more

World Class Service 5/23/2011

When I turned on my heater a cool evening, I found that it would not turn on! I called several businesses in the are but decided to hire 2nd Wind Heating & Air mostly because they were so kind and helpful over the phone. I figured that if they were that professional over the phone, then they would be great to work with - and they were! The worker came to my house as scheduled, finished the work reasonably quick and left his workspace spotless. more

Great service every time! 5/13/2011

Our air conditioner/heat pump quit working on Tuesday night. Since we are fairly new to the Columbia, area we contacted 2nd Wind because of the reputation your company has. Our service call was completed within one hour. We were very satisfied with the technician and the ability to diagnose and correct the problem in a short time. We are also an employee-owned commercial general contractor who will keep your company in mind for future work we may have in the Columbia area. Thank you again for your professional and friendly staff from the initial call until the technician was done! more

Very professional & fast 5/5/2011

When my Air Conditioning unit went out, I waited 2 weeks for my Home Warranty Company to get back to me. I was getting impatient so I called 2nd Wind for a second opinion. They were only too happy to come out and check the unit for free. Within minutes the technician had the unit working. They were very fast and professional. Special kudos to Brian for his help. more

Impressed 5/4/2011

During the recent drop in temperatures we have experienced in Columbia we decided to turn on the heat only to find that it was not working. I called 2nd Wind first thing Monday morning and they arrived to my home shortly after the call. Shortly after their arrival, the tech determined what the problem was and explained to us in detail out options which involved either repairing or replacing the unit. I had 2nd Wind replace the unit, and in doing do I was very impressed with the work they did, and have requested that the same technician be my technician going forward. more

Very Impressed! 4/14/2011

I just want to say how impressed I am with the professionalism and competency of the 2nd Wind team that just replaced my entire ductwork. I found I had a severe problem with moisture in my old ductwork and realized I needed to have it replaced. I decided to go with 2nd Wind based on the outstanding work they did recently in fixing my daughter’s problems with her house air conditioning & ductwork. They did an excellent job, and were very considerate to let us know the times they would be working. When all was done they did a thorough job of cleaning up the work area and walking me through all the work that was done to ensure they met my expectations. more

Good Experience! 4/8/2011

I just had all new ductwork and a new unit installed at my home. The whole experience was a good one for me. The technician carefully explained to me what was needed and even came back after the work was completed to make sure everything was up to par. Everyone was professional, courteous and hardworking. They made every effort to clean up as they went along which I greatly appreciated. more

A very "cool" place 11/27/2005

These guys work 24/7, so I know I can count on them whenever I have AC problems. My house has a tri-AC unit, and it can be very confusing. I've had other repair techs have problems with it and tell me they can't fix it, but never had that problem with 2nd Wind. One time they even came out because it wasn't working. The problem was a switch had accidentally been turned off. The guy simply flipped it back and didn't charge me a thing, even for the service call. Another time a dead animal got caught in a gasket ro something and they removed it and even took the carcass with them instead of making me dispose of it myself. That's class-A service right there. Also, their vans have pictures of their employees on them so you can get to know them, just like famiy. more
