About 3 weeks ago I had a very large painting that I took to Fed x and ups and was told at both places that it was too large to ship. They did however suggest a place called 24/7 ...

Would not recommend this company. Highly unprofessional.... After reading the reviews on this website and calling around for quotes, I decided to settle on this moving company....

I had 24/7 downtown moving pick my furniture up from my old place in North Miami Beach and store it for a month. Everything was delivered yesterday on the exact day and time they promised to my new place in NY. I'm normally not a big review writer but they asked me to review their company and I agreed to do so because everything went so well. If I had to move again it would be these guys. Price was fair but also guaranteed. Workers were good and you could tell they knew what they were doing when setting up my furniture at my new apartment in the city. No furniture damage. Customer service was good and organized. No communication breakdown whatsoever. Very honest guys / professional all around service. Thanks. more

There are a lot of things that are exciting about a job change. Moving is not one of them. When you are forced to take all of your belongings and put them into a large truck it can be a harrowing experience. As someone who is completing his second move in a little over one year, I can vouch for the fact that moving is a very stressful undertaking. Choosing the right moving company can be crucial to your success or failure in the moving process. This time, we decided to go with 24/7 Downtown Miami Movers. I always prefer to go with a national company as opposed to ? Michaels Moving ? (which is actually the name of a local company in our area!). The national companies usually have reputations to protect, and are able to provide much better information on the front end. alliance moving gave us a competitive price and showed great efficiency in providing our price quotes and other decision-making data. I was pleased with their customer service representative as well, as was my wife. Based on the information we had, we decided that 24/7 Downtown Miami Movers was the best choice for our move. Now that moving day has come and gone, I have no regrets about my choice. 24/7 Downtown Miami Movers personnel did a very good job in handling our materials and transporting them to our home in our new city.This crew made very good use of the space available. As you would expect, these dudes were STRONG! Things that would have taken two of us were easy for one of these men to move by himself. As I sat and watched them work, I was glad that I was not doing any heavy lifting myself. We were very pleased with their courteous personnel, their emphasis on customer service, and their willingness to ensure our satisfaction. Would not recommend this company. Highly unprofessional.... After reading the reviews on this website and calling around for quotes, I decided to settle on this moving company. On the day of my move, after 15 minutes passed and the movers haven't arrived, I decided to call them. The person, who answered the phone, assured me that everything is fine. 30 min passed..no movers. An hour past scheduled time...no movers. Once again, I call, someone states that he is going to call the drivers and see what has happened. Another 15 min past...no call back and they're ignoring my calls. Finally, AFTER AN HOUR AND HALF past scheduled time, someone calls me back and says the moving truck is having problems. Give me a break! I'm not stupid. I would have appreciated if someone had told me the truth from the beginning (that the drivers were running really late). Furthermore, it would have nice to receive a call stating that they would not be on time. I had a scheduled elevator time with my new apartment building. These people did not care about that. In the end, they offered me a discount for my troubles. I refused without hearing the discount offer. I will not give money and tip to people who can't act professional. There are other moving companies in Miami. If you choose to go with this company, GOOD LUCK! more

Good group of people 1/31/2011

Got quotes from other ""top"" moving companies and their rates were double. Miami Movers is professional, reliable and great to work with. THis is the first time I got movers and I was annoyed at how expensive some of the other quotes were. Thankfully I relied on the reviews posted here and called up for a quote. It was affordable and stress-free. They were flexible with the amount of boxes I expected to have and they were polite at all times. The movers arrived on time, did their job and left without incident. They worked hard and never came across as threatening or sketchy. I never write reviews but I felt this company deserved the praise. I highly recommend Miami Movers! more

Great moving experience?? 10/27/2010

I wanted to recommend 24/7 Miami Movers for helping me on my office move. The movers arrived on time (5:00 a.m.) and started to work immediately. My brother recommended me 24/7 moving company as he used their services some time ago and he was absolutely right when he said they are prompt and they have affordable prices. Cheap Movers called me one day before the move to confirm the time, and on the day of the move, the crew showed up on time. They were great; worked efficiently fast and organized, they even helped me in wrapping my breakable items. I received all my belongings without any scratch. Overall very good experience. My wife and I had a very good experience with Cheap Movers. They arrived a few minutes early and call 15 minutes before to let us know, and to asked if it's OK with as. The 4 men were big and strong, they worked hard and fast and finished our move (5 bed house) in less time that I was expected.
