1st Class came out for their 6-month follow-up as stated when I bought an A/C unit. It was easy to schedule with no hassle. more

Matt and 1st Class Air were excellent and very professional. 12/13/2012

When they installed my new unit in July, it took two trips. The company sent me gift cards for my time. I have been a customer of 1st Class Air since 2001, and have always been satisfied with the service and professional work. more

Call to replace a part on A/C 12/12/2012

They charge me $280.00 dollars for a part that cost $26.00 dollars and only took 10 min to installed. I wish I would have know. These guys will rip you off. more

Very good servicing for ac/heater tune up 12/8/2012

the appointment setup was quick. They worked diligently throughout the inspection. I wish they had provided some detailed report about each part they inspected. more

Always great service! 11/30/2012

We have been using 1st Class Air for over 15 years. They are dependable, knowledgable, and very friendly. They have done repairs and replaced both heating and AC units. They are very honest and have very competitive pricing. We are moving and recommending them to the new owners! more

What a surprise! 11/28/2012

I smelled something burning and did not think I could get someone out as quickly as I did. Within hours a technician came out. I must admit that I was expecting the tech to tell me something needed repair/replacing and would cost $500... to my surprise, everything was okay and there was no charge. The fact that I had a maintenance contract was also in my favor. I will continue with 1st Class. The technician was knowledgeable and courteous. more

Season check-up 11/18/2012

Great job. Very friendly. more

1st Class Heat & Air provides excellent service without high-pressure sales. 11/14/2012

I really appreciate 1st Class. They've used the same technician every visit so far, and I think he understands our set-up and our tolerance for additional services and upgrades. I've worked with another company that provided good service, but I think they were more focused on up-selling and add-ons that were expensive, even while under contract. more

Very good. 10/18/2012

I know that only the work that needs to be done will be done and it will be done well. I am also well pleased and know a good job will be done. more

Excellent. 7/5/2012

After the fact chks shows company extremely over charges on it parts... 6/26/2012

After the fact chks shows company extremely over charges on it parts plus a svc call of 59.00 fee...Contact with other HVAC companies revealed on average a $20 capacitor companies charge $170.00 for part and svc fee combined....I was charged $340.00 to chk system and only replace capacitor.... No recomendation from me ever.... Dan's company practice is to over charge for part and take advantage of unsuspecting consumers, this is poorer than poor customer service....(I will be watching to see if this review is published). more

Fantastic! 5/29/2012

Over previous company quoted 4 to 5 days to repair our AC if the fan motor is OK and 11 to 12 days if it is bad also. They had no way to check the motor expect to replaced the circuit board. Your company came immediately. Verified the motor is good and replaced board and module Monday morning. Working system before noon Monday! more

Adjusted REVIEW - $300/hr labor 5/26/2012

I wrote a reivew eariler and can't see where or how to adjust/edit it. So I'm writing another...short and sweet. AC went out - called they came. Easy to do. Fixed the issue quickly. Called about a coupon/discount after the fact they gave it to me (10). Still confused about what was actually done and replaced...(Coil Pak on invoice) actual part is a RUN Capacitor...they say same thing. Never heard of a coil pak. Cost wa 3x the part cost..I called and asked why...they said they CHARGE $300/hr for Labor. Making the parts in this case about 3x cost. This is not posted or told...perhaps it's industry standard...I don't know. I will say that this is a lesson learned. ASK before about labor cost and parts mark up. I will say they were professional, honest, and upfront with me, when I asked about these things, and I respect that. I feel like the labor cost should be told upfront, and therefore adjusting to only 3 stars across the board. I will work with Customerlobby to remove the lower rated review. more

Started out well then got duped on the actual service 5/26/2012

AC went out - I called and scheduled an appointment. Service guy arrives at scheduled time and we get started. I basically stand over his shoulder to watch the process and see what he does. Diagnostic (which is basically the service call fee covers)and he finds the problem. The problem as he called it was the "COIL PAK" - I didn't and STILL DON'T know what this was/is. I asked and he said it was the "Battery" futher discussion led to it's more like a "starter". - the part replaced was actually the RUN CAPACITOR. ($30-$100 part) spicifically mine can be found at around $80. Replaced tested...we were good. COST of service $59.90 cost to replace "Coil Pak" $268.50 That's right 3X the cost of the part. I get profit and mark up but this is deception. NOTE: I found out about the cost the next day. HOWEVER, I did call a few hours after service to discuss the service and a coupon for $50 off. I told them what the service was and they said that the "parts" refund wasn't applicable BUT did offer 10 off my bill...I took it. SOMETHING STILL bothered me so I found an AC diagram because I couldnt' find anything about "coil pak", to see what the part what that was replaced. That's how I know what the cost is today. I have to assume this is a "Service" and not a part replacement...however I was never told that, and we didn't DO anything except replace and test. (20mins tops) Initially I loved the service and process...until I found out what the actual costs were. I feel like I've been duped and or taken advantage of. I'd like 1st class to explain what a "coil pak" is and attempt to justify the charged cost vs. the actual service/part replacement. I would also like a more equitable solution. If we come to one I will adjust my review and ratings accordingly. more
