What are skin tags?
More commonly known in the medical world as acrochordon, skin tag is a form of tumor that grows on normal skin. Generally speaking, skin tags can grow to about a few millimeters in their thickness – making them highly visible to the naked eyes. While in many cases they have the same color as the skin, it is not uncommon for skin tags to appear darker than the surrounding skin. This unsightly skin disease can be found in various parts of the body. Some of the most prominent ones include the eyelids, the breasts, genital areas, armpits and the neck – this explains why skin tags removal tips are highly sought after.
