I had the privilege and good fortune of working with an amazing team to build a company that served many clients over the years in the field of Payment Accuracy. We had the view that if we focused on serving clients and their needs (vs. our own agenda), that we would be entrusted as a valuable partner. We treasured those clients, they taught us a lot and provided invaluable feedback along the way that has shaped my current view of what’s needed in the next generation of payment accuracy. The value delivered today is real and important – primarily referred to as Payment Integrity. But it is delivered in a very expensive, fragmented and not well understood way. This results in a great deal of friction between payers and providers and a growing administrative cost burden for all parties.
