If you are really tired of getting lost yet again in one of the huge grocery stores that are now the norm (now, WHERE did I put my cart?!), Greenstar is the grocery store for you. Although one can join as a member for a 2% discount (it is a consumer-owned, democratically-run cooperative), the store is open to everyone. They have an excellent produce manager and a very good selection of natural and organic products overall. Best of all, the store has a community feel to it and a nice in store cafe with good food. There are also opportunities to join as a Superworker: for 2 hours of work every week, you get a 17.5% discount on all your groceries.
