Review content:
In search of something easy, to fill my belly, close to my hotel in Albuquerque, I came across Relish. A quick check on yelp and I headed in. The shop is small and basic, but the sandwich is anything but. I ordered the Cubano, it came with a side salad, I chose the slaw, and a dill pickle. I paid my tab, 11 dollars, and headed back to the hotel.
When I got back to my room I unwrapped the HUGE warm, toasty, crusty sandwich and ate the entire thing, and thought about going to get another one for later. A combo of roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese and pickles, all smeared with a cilantro mayo that made me lick the paper. The sandwich is crunchy on the outside, warm and melty on the inside and big enough for two! Unless you are me who doesn't like to share.
The Slaw was a hicama, green apple slaw that was perfectly tangy as cole slaw is meant to be. Over all I'm in love with Relish and cant wait to get back to try the other sandwiches!
