Review content:
Same Old Place offers pizza, subs, and serves greasy breakfasts. It's a neighborhood place, the decor is formica, and there are always a few blaring televisions going. The pizza is what I like to call good bad pizza -- nothing fancy or gourmet. Quite greasy, soft, and filled with cheese. Hits the spot when nothing else will do. Subs are all serviceable, and typical. Steak and cheese, etc. At breakfast, place feels like a neighborhood joint.
Some of the prices are too high -- coffee, for example, is ridiculous for a pizza joint. In fact, everything could be a couple dollars cheaper.
Also, there can be some attitude behind the counter. One afternoon a middle-aged paunchy man in glasses refused to acknowledge me as I waited patiently at the sub line as he filled some outstanding orders.
