In June 2010 I arranged to rent an apartment with VonDeck Realty. I signed a lease and sent a check for $1,950 to VonDeck as a deposit. The lease was for one year July 1,2010 to July1,2011.I canceled this lease on June 14,2010. VonDeck and the property owner named as Christopher Gomes have refused to return my deposit to me.,I feel that they are nothing but thieves and rip off artists. I advise anyone not to do business with these people, the have stooped so low as to rip off a senior citizen of nearly a full months of fixed income. The apartment was over priced and was located in one of the worst areas in the city of plainfield Ct.
