I originally tried out Vienna bakery because my friend and her family highly recommended it. As you can tell from the name, it's Itallian. But, they do make american baked goods and cakes, also. I have to admit the first time I tried it that it was a good experience; the cookies are delicious, mainly the thumb prints. But, the next couple of times we visited were lackluster. The help is mainly senior women who tend to get cranky at random times during the day. On one visit we were ignored several times after trying to get the attention of the workers. When we finally did, we choose a black and white cake for my friend's birthday. It looked good, but upon tasting it we discovered that it was old and somewhat stale. That experience was enough to leave a bad taste in our mouth for Vienna Bakery indefinitely. Perhaps if you order anything else besides the black and white cake, you'll love this bakery as much as my friend does.
