Businiess name:  Los Portales Mexican Restaurant

Review content:
The high ratings for this place absolutely scare me. It really makes me wonder who clicks like around here... Anyways... Basically, this place seems to just thrive on its location alone. It is a very average to slightly below average tex/mex style mexican restaurant. Not a lot of space and a little cramped. Out waiter forgot about us, for what seemed about 8 minutes. Not good service, but not terrible. Best way to describe it was BLAH. Asked for corn tortillas and were delivered flour. Not helpful when you are dining with someone who is allergic to gluten. I found myself having to walk over and ask a waiter for both refils & the corn tortillas. I ordered the chorizo and chicken. The chorizo came out dry and the chicken was very bland and forgettable. Again, blah. The place is usually kind of busy, but don't let that lead you to thinking it is the slightest bit above average. It's located in a busy area right across from Southpoint Mall. Not a lot of other food choices nearby, except Chili's, Moe's & Ted's Montana Grill (equally underwhelming). If you are in the Southpoint area and are looking for good mexican food, hop onto 40 East from Fayetteville road and go 1 exit down to Hwy 55, take a right from the off ramp. Check out El Dorado which will be in the Food Lion shopping center, two lights down on your right.
