Just over a year ago, I needed to have some business notepads printed and several hundred copies of a syllabus made before I gave a seminar. I was down to the wire and didn't know where to turn.
I happened to mention this to a friend of mine who suggested Minuteman Press. He told me he'd been referring a lot of people he knows to them, with good results.
So, I brought my armload of stuff into Minuteman Press.
Not only was my "challenge" not a challenge for them, everyone was helpful and smiling! Not only could my job be done, it could be done earlier than I'd hoped!
That's just the first time I used Minuteman Press. I've used them recently for a client's weekend-long event. Not only was I given the same smiling help I always get, but when a few minor problems arose, their graphics department happily helped me fix them quickly. Everyone I've worked with there has bent over backwards to ensure a smooth process.
I didn't get "sticker shock", either. Some of their copy machine prices are comparable to other print shops, but Minuteman Press shines when it comes to custom orders. They do what they can to make your job look as professional as possible while still keeping you within your budget.
Getting artwork to them is a snap! Their website provides a way of being able to transfer your file to them without having to drive there! It's really an easy process.
They also get high marks for communication. By phone or by email, I can contact them and I know I will get a timely response. If issues do arise (those times have been few), I find out right away. And when the job is done, there's always a treat waiting for you in the box! (Apparently, I can be bought easily with a package of peanut M&M's.)
When you need to have something done professionally, in a short time, and with a helpful smile--and if that something involves printing--there is no better place in the Albany area than Minuteman Press.
