Review content:
I recently visited a business in Charlotte called Plato's Closet, I was under the impression that they bought gently used name brand clothing, I thought that this was a great idea, since my teenage daughter has an abundance of clothes. So I gathered all the clothes that my daughter has out grown or just didnt want, mind you that all of the clothes were name brand, such as hollister, Abercrombie, American Eagle, even a prada bag and some Ed hardy shirts , after waiting almost 1 hour, and the girl didnt even go through the clothes, because I watched her, they said that they couldn't use nothing but a skirt, brand name LEI, and offered me 2.49 cents. They said that the clothes were not anything that was in demand, and was not being offered in a regualr store within the las6 month!!!, That is not true a couple of shirts that I had bought my daughter from Hollister still had the tags on them, so how is that used, I was outraged, they are snooty and act like they work in a boutique on Rodeo drive!!! the girls that work there are unfriendly, and rude. They stereo type all the different people that go in there how do they know who's who? I may not look like I just stepped out of vogue magazine, but my annual income is 85,000, but i guess that I do not fit their profile of who needs to shop in the store.they are an insult to a resale shop. I will never go there again, needless to say as we waited, my daughter shopped and bought some suspenders, after I got home come to find out that one clasp was missing, so I guess that was a lesson learned.
